MY PHILOSOPHY OF TEACHING
As a graduate of marketing and management, I will use my knowledge, skills, and values to promote
it for education while recognizing the importance of financial aspects and literacy. I will combine
these two aspects—business and education—to create holistic learners who can evade the
challenges of life.
My teaching philosophy revolves around three key principles: student-centered learning, fostering
critical thinking, and creating a supportive learning community.
Firstly, I strongly believe in student-centered learning. I see my role as a facilitator who empowers
students to take an active role in their education. By providing opportunities for inquiry, exploration,
and hands-on experiences, I aim to cultivate a sense of curiosity and intrinsic motivation in my
students. I strive to create a learning environment where students feel empowered to ask questions,
express their ideas, and take ownership of their learning journey.
Secondly, fostering critical thinking is a core element of my teaching philosophy. I believe that
education should go beyond the mere transmission of information. It should equip students with the
skills to analyze, evaluate, and apply knowledge in meaningful ways. I encourage students to think
critically, ask probing questions, and engage in thoughtful discussions. By promoting critical
thinking, I aim to nurture their problem-solving abilities, promote independent thinking, and prepare
them for the complexities of the real world.
In the ever-evolving field of marketing and management, adaptability and innovation are crucial. I
encourage students to embrace change, think creatively, and adapt to new technologies and trends.
By fostering a growth mindset and encouraging experimentation, I aim to prepare students to thrive
in a dynamic and rapidly changing business environment.
