San Andreas Reflection Paper
This movie follow the devastation that California encountered. This movie discussed the
possible effect of the “big one”. The San Francisco experienced a earthquake that was
9.6 magnitude. Many buildings had collapsed, even road got cracked open. Many had
lost their life due to the earthquake. This movie’s message is to be prepared for the
possible natural disaster that could occur.
In the film the San Andreas fault triggered an earthquake that also led to the occurrence
of a tsunami posing a threat. The tsunami was generated due, to the movement of water
resulting from the powerful magnitude and its close proximity to the ocean floor.
Individuals residing near water bodies encounter risks in situations. It is advisable to
seek refuge on more stable ground to what the main characters in the story did.
Despite the presence of rescue workers I couldn't. Feel dissatisfied, with their limited
numbers, which only added to the panic and suffering of the people. If only they had
personnel they could have saved lives. However it's not entirely their fault. Honestly
speaking I find the behavior of some individuals quite appalling. It's understandable to
be scared in situations. Its crucial to stay composed exercise caution and ensure the
safety of yourself and your loved ones. Moreover this film made us confront a reality; we
can't save everyone. Instead our focus should be on safeguarding both our lives and
those, around us.
San Andreas is a fictional account of one of the worst disasters the planet has ever seen.
This film primarily demonstrates the need for us to exercise caution whenever an
earthquake occurs. Consider the possibility of aftershocks and prepare a route to a safe
location. We must be knowledgeable about disasters, including what to do before and
after, when to leave, and where to go. The lessons of these films are that when a crisis
strikes, everyone is at risk and that, most of the time, only you can save yourself. This
should serve as a warning to everyone that such a catastrophe is not out of the question.
