world in balance, even the Evil or Chaotic Gods. Without us there might be no more world.

So I give you a choice, to do what you have been doing, exploring Dungeons, fighting monsters, but for us, the
gods. With our protection and assistance you can fight back against or the Empire.
Or you can wait. They know who you are and where you are. You can run and hide, but how long do you think that
will work.

Anubis disappears the plinth. He picks up the scales and “moves it” and it grows, eventually showing their Inn room
on one scale and the deck of a boat on a river by a desert on the other

If they choose the boat when they arrive they are on a Long Egyptian style sail boat sailing towards a City. The
animal appears and then changes form to represent a large black Jackal/Dog. It talks.

Anubis has granted me more intelligence and speech. I have some knowledge and you can use me as a
communication to the gods, but I am not much more powerful than before I am afraid. I am he may have left out an
important detail. The other Gods are not happy trusting you with so much. You must complete some trials. You have
passed Anubis’ trial when you made the choice and your hearts are weighed. But there will be more trials now. I’m
not sure how many or what form they will take.
