COLOMBIA VISA – APPLICATION GUIDE

A. WHAT KIND OF VISA ARE YOU APPLYING TO?

Colombia has 3 types and 21 sub-types of visa. The most common applications are:

B. FILL THE ELECTRONIC APPLICATION FORM AND SCHEDULE AN APPOINTMENT

1. Before entering the electronic form, be sure of have digitalized the following:
▪ Current photograph of the applicant white background, no glasses or earrings, JPEG format.
▪ Documents required depending on the type of visa, PDF format, and maximum 3mb.
2. Go to the following link and fill with your personal data the electronic application form. There you
also will have to upload the documents described in the previous number:

3. Schedule your appointment to present yourself at the Consulate on the following link:
http://tramites.cancilleria.gov.co/Ciudadano/Bienvenido.aspx

C. PAY IN CASH THE APPLICATION FEE AND ATTEND PERSONALLY TO THE APPOINTMENT

1. Make a deposit, only cash, with the relevant amount (look down in this page the fees). After your
application has been processed, in case of approval, the relevant issuing fee will be informed.

2. Come to the Consulate on the date and hour of your appointment with original documents and the
deposit receipt of the application fee.
Visa application fees:
US$ 16 student visa (TP-3, any national)
US$ 26 transit visa only (TP-14)
US$ 30 Ecuador nationals only (except student visa)
US$ 52 regular applications, any type of visa, any nationality
