INTERVIEW GUIDE FOR HEALTH SERVICE PROVIDERS (To be administered to In-Charges/Health

Service Providers at HIV/AIDS Service Points, and Staff/Managers from AIDS support organization)
Introduction
Good morning/afternoon. My name is_________, and my colleague is_________. We are conducting a baseline
survey on behalf of ASHWA and Streetways Uganda to get comprehensive information for program planning
and implementation. The survey is focusing on the health of key populations (sex workers, truck drivers and
street children) specifically pertaining to HIV/AIDS knowledge, attitudes, practices and risk behaviors among
these key populations. I would like to talk to you about your knowledge of HIV/ AIDS, where services can be
obtained and other related topics. The results of this survey will be used to improve access to and the quality of
programming for HIV prevention in your community. You have been selected to participate in this survey not
because anything is known about you, but purely by chance to represent other people that live in this
community. What you tell me will be strictly confidential and your name will not be written on this form

basic medical care (OPD services) - STI testing
- TB and TB/HIV Management - PMTCT
- Post Test Club - Psycho-social support and protection
- CD4/8 Count, malaria diagnosis, - ART
QA/QC. - OVC support
