Task Details: C1.5.3 Arrange a work assignment to visit the SWP and review the daily
report. Identify the flow rate of treated water exported from the plant
Task Description:
The daily report consists of the following:
1- Export pumps status P-74175
2- SWP2 intake pumps status P-74161
3- SWP1E MF log sheet
4- Chemical & reactor tanks log sheet
5- De-oxygenation system towers (A&B)
6- Instrumentation Air compressor skids log sheet
The flow rate of the produced water demanded by the management, the plant control room
receive the instructions from the management (occasionally every 2-3 hours)
We can control the flow rate by controlling the choke valve on the export pumps manually.
Today the flow rate was 600 M 3 /hr then we received a call from the management telling us to
decrease the flow to 450 M 3 /hr.
The total flow rate taken for 24 hours at 3:00 p.m every day. SWP 1E designed with a maximum
flow rate of 24,000 M 3 / day. The control room sends the log sheet to the supervisor to prepare
the daily report and send it to the management of the production department.
