PREREQUISITE : BPMN 1013 PRINCIPLES OF MANAGEMENT

1.0 SYNOPSIS

This course will be introduced students to organizational behavior as a whole. The course
also stresses on the concept of individual, group and organizational structure and the
importance of the concepts towards organization. This course will also cover about the
roles of manager in understanding and applying the concepts in developing and retaining
the competitiveness of the organization.

2.0 OBJECTIVES

At the end of the course, students are expected to:

1. Understand the concepts and theories of individuals, groups and organizational


systems within the organizational behavior (OB) discipline.
2. Explain how these OB concepts and theories relate to work behaviors or attitudes.
3. Apply OB-related concepts and techniques in organizational setting.

3.0 LEARNING OUTCOMES

At the end of the course, students will be able to,

1. Describe the concepts and theories of individuals, groups, and organizational systems
within the organizational behavior (OB) discipline. (C2)

2. Discuss the relationship of these OB concepts and theories with work behaviors or
attitudes. (C2,A2)

3. Demonstrate the ability to apply OB-related concepts and techniques in


organizational issues.(A3, C3)
