To whom it may concern,

My name is Jalynn Small and I am the president of (for a black girl) a registered
student organization on the campus of the University of North Florida. Our club was
founded in 2021, by my older sister, Jacqueline Small. She had the vision to create a
safe space for women of color on campus that would foster creativity, discussion,
and most importantly, empower black women. Our organization strives to create
opportunities for women in our community, with great hope and expectation that
they too can make lasting impact.

Last year, we had the privilege of introducing our first ever (for a black girl
scholarship), as a token of our appreciation to the community that has given so
much to us. This scholarship is not only open to current members in our club but
also to Duval County High School seniors who are pursuing higher education.

This package discloses the scholarship packet which includes the information page
as well as the scholarship application. We would appreciate it if you could share
this packet with your students and or anyone who may be interested. If you would
prefer to have a digital copy, please let us know and we will be more than happy to
provide you with one!

Thank you in advance for your time and consideration,

Jalynn M. Small
