My name is Mariayana Zulfekar, holder of Republic of Guyana passport number R1132865
and I have been issued an Acceptance letter for Centennial College for the Personal Support worker
course. My expected duration of study is January 08, 2024 to August, 2024. During my time in
Canada, I will be staying with my Grandparents, Anita Khelawan, and Khelawan. An invitation
letter from them is attached here within my application. My father, Mohamed Shameer Zulfekar,
will be supporting me financially during my studies in Canada: Bank statements as well as an
authorization letter from my father is attached here with in my application.

I was recently a high school teacher; however, I had always had a passion to care for the elderly,
During the pandemic, families had relied greatly on PSW’s to care for their loved ones and I was
inspired by that. With my current qualification, I was accepted into the Personal Support worker
program at Centennial college. Unfortunately, Guyana does not currently offer a course that
prepare you with the knowledge and skills to provide compassionate care when assisting
individuals with broad-spectrum conditions and health care needs, which is why I had decided to
pursue my studies in Canada. After my studies, I intend on returning to Guyana with the skills and
experience that I would have acquired and utilized them in my community. I can assure you that I
will not remain beyond the validity and approved stay in Canada
