In this seminar assignment we analyze the global competitiveness of Peru given
the pillar indicators of the country. In 1st Pillar we have institutions which we divide on public institutions and private institutions. Value for the institutions is 3.2 which puts Peru on the 116. Place in the world ranking which is low value. 2nd Pillar is infrastructure, and the average value is 3.8 which is concluded from two values and that are value for transport infrastructure (3.1) and electricity and telephony infrastructure ( 4.4) . From given values we can see that electricity and telephone infrastructure is quite good comparing to the world rank. 3rd pillar is macroeconomic environment which consist of government budget balance, gross national savings, inflation, government debt to GDP, country credit rating. The overall value is 5.4 which outs them on the 37th place and we can say that is very good. Health and primary education are part of 4th pillar and the value for that pillar is 5.4- 5th pillar is made from higher education and training, and it describes the values for the quantity of education, quality of education and on-the job training. The value for 5th pillar is 4.1 and that puts the country of Peru in 81st place. 6th pillar refers to goods market efficiency and its value is 4.3. 8th pillar refers to the financial market development and its value is 4.5. 9th pillar refers to the technological readiness and its value is 3.7. 10th pillar refers to the market size and its value is 4.5. Business sophistication belongs to the 11th pillar and its value is 3.8. Innovation refers to the 12th pillar and its value is 2.8 which is low on the global scale.
