B1_Synthesis #1: Task of Managing and The Supervisor

In the last session, we discussed the important roles of both the task of managing
and the supervisor in an organization. From our discussion, I have come to understand
that the task of managing involves the process of planning, organizing, leading, and
controlling resources to achieve organizational goals. It requires a wide range of skills
and abilities, such as decision-making, problem-solving, communication, and leadership.
On the other hand, the supervisor plays a crucial role in overseeing the work of
employees, providing guidance and support, and ensuring that tasks are completed
efficiently and effectively. They are responsible for monitoring performance, providing
feedback, and fostering a positive work environment.

As a student, the essence of this topic that I have learned is the importance of
effective leadership skills to excel in a managerial role for their employees. Why?
Because the same skills are necessary for supervising employees and achieving
organizational goals, the same is true here in school: effective leadership skills are crucial
for students who hold leadership positions in student organizations. These skills help us
students like me effectively communicate, delegate tasks, and motivate our peers towards
achieving common goals. Just like in a professional setting, effective school leadership
can lead to increased productivity, improved teamwork, and a positive learning
environment. Therefore, developing and honing leadership skills as a student can have a
lasting impact on one's future success in both academic and professional settings.

In conclusion, schools need to prioritize the development of leadership skills

among students like us. By providing opportunities for students to take on leadership roles
and offering training programs, schools can empower students to become effective
leaders. This will not only benefit their academic and professional lives but also contribute
to the overall growth and success of the school community. Ultimately, investing in
leadership development in schools is an investment not only in the future leaders of our
