I study English because I want to know the language which is fundamental because it
is the third most spoken language in the world and also to have new possibilities in
the world because if I go abroad the English language will help me to have a fluent
communication with new people both at work and for foreign studies. English helps
me to have knowledge of new cultures. The study of English increases metacognitive
and metalinguistic skills. Also, I can have more possibilities to reflect and have a critical
analysis.

b. Do you like English in your career?

Personally, for me, English is a language of which we have a lot to learn, besides the
fact that it is fundamental to be able to interact with people from other countries. Do
I like English in my career? Yes, I like English in my career and I think I am learning little
by little the basics to be able to be more technical in writing the language and also in
pronunciation which is very important. I always try to pay attention to be able to
understand what the teacher explains, according to what I have been studying
English, I feel that I have advanced a lot.
