What are the three stories Steve Jobs tells in his speech?

1) Connecting the dots.

Steve jobs explains a story about how his biological mother hadn’t money and when
someone wanted to adopt him the mother would say no because they didn’t had the
money. Later he went and study college but dropped out because it was too expensive
and he was very poor when he dropped out but later he took some typography courses
and created the first computer with beautiful typography.

2) Love and Loss

After the Apple company grew up and he was very rich he got fired from his own
company. He hired someone who he thought was good but they had a falling out and at
30 he got fired. He didn’t know what to do but he stilled thought of what he loved, so he
decided to start over. During the 5 next years he created more companies like Pixar and
married her wife.

3) Death
He was diagnosed with cancer. He thought he was going to die and to live only for 3
months. He later got a biopsy and saw it was a cancer that was curable and he was fine.

What is/are some of the life lessons Steve Jobs wants his audience to understand?

You can’t connect the dots looking forward, only looking backwards so you have to expect they
will work and hope for the best.

Sometimes life can hit you, but you have to continue doing what you love. You need to love
what you do and if you haven’t found it, you will and it will get better and better as you move on.

No one wants to die, even people who want to go to heaven don’t want to die to get their. But no
one has ever escaped death, it’s clears out the old to make in for the new. Your time is limited,
so don’t waist it living someone else’s life. Don’t let others affect you.
