SHOW RULES AND REGULATIONS
• Entries and Stall payments in US funds only

1. Entries close August 4, 2023
2. Post entries will be accepted at regular fees for performance classes in the morning sessions until 7:00 PM the day
before the class runs. Entries for all classes will be accepted until 2 hours before the posted start of the session.
3. A billing fee of $50.00 will be added to any balance that remains unpaid after the exhibitor leaves the show grounds. An
additional $50.00 fee will be added each month that the balance is not resolved.
4. Management reserves the right to refuse any entry and to return any entry fees before the opening of the show; to
prohibit any person from attending or showing a horse in the ring; and to remove any owner or stable employee or horse
from the show without being liable for compensation of any kind.
5. A surcharge of $100.00 plus collection fees will be made for all nonnegotiable checks.
6. Canadian checks must be marked: Payable in U.S. Funds.
7. A number will be assigned to each horse when the entry is made. This number must be displayed whenever the horse is
shown.
8. Entry fees will be refunded if entries are cancelled on or before August 20. There will be a $25.00 office charge for all
scratches after August 20 unless another horse is entered in its place. There will be NO refunds on stalls. ONCE THE
SHOW HAS STARTED, HORSES WHICH ARE NOT SHOWN IN CLASSES IN WHICH THEY ARE ENTERED
FORFEIT THEIR FEES. Exhibitors shall be held responsible for the entry fee of all horses entered by them or their agents
even though payment of these fees is not submitted along with the Entry Blanks. When a horse is disqualified from
showing by the Management or officials, the entry fee will not be refunded.
9. Entry blanks will not be accepted unless signed by the owner, or his authorized agent and the trainer, coach and the
rider/driver/handler and accompanied by a check. A parent or guardian must sign for any minor exhibitor. Show will not
be responsible for any accident of any kind or nature that may occur to any animal, person, or property. The exhibitors and
spectators shall hold them harmless and indemnify them against any legal proceedings arising from any accidental
damages.
10. There will be a nonrefundable office fee of $30.00 per horse
11. There will be a one time jump fee of $20.00 per horse for entries in Hopeful Hunter, Low Hunter and
Jumper, and $10.00 per horse for cross rail.
12. There will be an NRHA Med Fee of $10 per horse entered in any NRHA class.
11. All prize money checks will be mailed within 30 days to horse owners unless other arrangements are made
in the show office.

MOTORIZED VEHICLES Minors who do not have a valid driver’s license which allows them to operate a
motorized vehicle in the state in which they reside will not be permitted to operate a motorized vehicle of any
kind, including, but not limited to, golf carts, motorcycles, scooters, or farm utility vehicles, on the
competition grounds of licensed competitions. Minors who have a valid temporary license may operate the
above described motorized vehicles as long as they are accompanied by an adult with a valid driver’s license.
The parent(s), legal guardians(s), or individual who signs the entry blank as a parent or guardian of a minor
operating a motorized vehicle in violation of this rule are solely responsible for any damages, claims, losses or
actions resulting from that operation. Violations of this rule will be cause for sanctions against the parent(s),
guardian(s) and/or trainer(s) who are responsible for the child committing the offense. Penalties may include
exclusion of the child, parent(s), guardian(s), and/or trainer(s) from the competition grounds for the remainder
of the competition and charges being filed against any of the above individuals in accordance with Chapter 6.
Wheelchairs and other mobility assistance devices for individuals with disabilities are exempt from this rule.

PLEASE NOTE: The following Health Requirements MUST be met by all horses. A proof
of a current Rabies Inoculation administered within 12 months of the current show dates
must be presented for each horse. HORSES STABLED IN NEW YORK STATE: Must
present a Negative Coggins Test certificate dated in 2022 or 2023. Please attach a legible
copy to your entry blank. HORSES STABLED OUTSIDE N. Y. STATE: Must present a
Negative Coggins Test certificate dated SINCE 8/2/2022 Please attach a legible copy to
your entry blank. AND: a current Health Certificate-dated within 30 days of your arrival in
NY State-from your local veterinarian. CANADA: Health Requirements for our purposes
are the same as for horses stabled outside New York State.
POSITIVELY NO NUMBERS CAN BE ISSUED UNTIL APPROPRIATE HEALTH
PAPERS ARE ON FILE IN SHOW OFFICE.

Box Seating may be reserved for section one from August 23rd – August 27th as follows

Box seating of 9 seats may be reserved per day at a rate of $45/ day.
Date must be specified on entry form.
All box seating is first come first served.
