Bully Prevention Family Interview Questions

Use the following questions to interview one or more adult members of your family. You do
not need to write down what is said. The answers to these questions are confidential and
just between you and your family members.

1. What is your definition of bullying?

Use your Bully Presentation Notes to explain Grant School’s definition of bullying
(intentional, repeated, power)

2. Did you witness bullying when you were my age? If so what type of bullying did you
witness?

Use your notes to explain the types of bullying explained to you.

3. Can you give me an example of a situation in which bullying occurred when you were in
school? What role did you play in the example (victim, bystander, or bully)?

4. What did you do after witnessing this situation?

Use your notes to explain the steps you should take if bullying occurs.

5. Are you aware that the school has an anonymous tipline to report any issues of safety at
