Pronounced Name: Mellow Link.

Literal Name: Lykinostrumatus.

Literal Age: 145 Thousand Years.

Homeworld Age: 3 Billion Revolutions.

Talents: Mentally, the knowledge of the cosmos is innately

learned before birth, but as a navigator of its kind, the
individual focused on research of the physical and immaterial
phenomena of the universe. Psychically, an active mind exerts
a force on the body to swim through space, projects a voice
through telepathy, and faintly detects feelings in others, but
it’s hard to decipher alien emotions. Though physically weak
and fragile, the body is made of malleable material that can
endure the harshness of outer space and fit in many places,
having no hard parts.

Preferred Gravity: Complete lack of gravity/minor pull.

Preferred Atmosphere: Hydrogen or Helium-rich air for lift, or
a general lack of atmosphere.

Minor Psychological Evaluation: Being so far from its family

unit, the mind is susceptible to changes from the emotions of
other species and cannot regulate its thoughts through those
of its own kind, leading to both a heightened level of emotion
and one focused on logical thinking to avoid dangerous
deviations, which the mind changes between.

Office of Command: Metaphysical Astronomy Center, study of

the cosmos and cosmic philosophy.
Optional Details:

Homeworld Details:
A low gravity planet dotted by small islands across its wet and
gaseous surface, shores and deep oceans were once the home
of all life until evolution brought about “The Resonance”.
Psychically sensitive creatures already developing sapience
grew a special gland in their brain, eventually allowing them to
gain a connection to the metaphysical that day, and with it
higher understanding of themselves and each other, and
finally, access to the sky.

Through immaterial propulsion the world was conquered and

floating cities created, conglomerations of biomass and water
spread across the clouds until there was only one species on
the planet, forcing them to once again look up, but this time at
the cosmos. The planet was left barren by the greed of the
young species, but with malleable new bodies and minds,
migration into space was relatively simple.

Homeless they roamed, but home is still forever that dead

world, slowly healing, its atmosphere long polluted by the
decay of all other life…

Preferred Environment: Underwater and open space, where

nothing can block their movement and their minds feel free.
Diet: Electromagnetic waves and background space radiation
are able to sustain their bodies, but their minds developed a
dependency on emotion, absorbing an energy from the feelings
of others. If need be, they retain a sheathed proboscis from
more primitive times, stabbed into meat to administer an
acidic agent and suck out nutrient goop.
Schedule: Changes in mood may say otherwise, but the files
say most of the time is to be spent in the observatory,
observing stellar phenomena.
