Abstract
Electrical engineers are the people who come up with or help fix blueprints for electrical or
communication like phone lines and radio lines. Some of the specific jobs electrical engineers
can work as electrical technician, broadcast engineer, technical writer, controls engineer, and
substation technician. To become an electrical engineer, the person needs to learn electrical and
communication. The schooling needed is a four-year school to learn everything and get the
Bachelor of Electrical Engineering (B.E.E. or BEE) degree. The pay and job outlook for
electrical engineers depend on the state. Minnesota's average pay for an electrical engineer is
$105,199 a year or $51 an hour. Businesses are always looking for electrical engineers because
few people are going into the field. This is an essential career because few people are going into
this field, and they are needed across the U.S. and the world. There will always be a need for
electrical engineers to make blueprints and make sure the job is done right.
