    The Schenectady RPC will hold its annual 260 mile auction and bond race on October 12, 2024. Birds will fly from Ashtabula, OH and the first prize is $1,500 split between the breeder and handler. An auction will be held on April 14 where live birds, pledges, and bands can be purchased. Bonds can also be purchased before or at the auction. The last 20 auction birds will fly together for an additional $1,000 prize for the buyer. Questions may be directed to the listed race committee members.

    Flyers with a minimum distance 260 miles are eligible or by invitation
    $1,500 FIRST PRIZE
    $1000 First Auction Bird / $1000 First Bond Bird
    ADDITIONAL PRIZES BASED ON PARTICIPATION
    Main Prizes Split 50% Breeder / 50% Handler
    All birds fly for overall 1st prize
    Auction birds fly for auction prize only
    Bond birds fly for bond prize only
    AUCTION DATE ON SUNDAY, APRIL 14, 2024
    Doors open at 10:00, Auction at 12:00 noon
    Live Birds, Pledges and Bands at Auction, all Auction birds to handlers by May 15 th
    Buybacks 4 for $200
    Bonds will be available for purchase before or at auction.
    Bonds: 3 for $175 or $70 each before June 15, 2024
    Bonds: 3 for $200 or $75 each after June 15, 2024 up to shipping night
    Flyer for Bond bird must be named at purchase.
    Any 2024 AU or IF banded bird eligible

    Last 20 Birds in auction will be combined to fly for a $1,000 prize to Buyer
    Last 20 Auction bids start at $100
    Additional prizes based on participation
    1 Backup band for Last 20 bid over $150

    Free Band to buyers of birds or pledges selling for more than $80

    Shipping Committee Fee $25


    Participants agree that the Schenectady RPC Race Committee makes final decisions on all matters for this
    race
