The ACT OF CONSECRATION

The Newlywed shows the worn Miraculous Medal, kneels down and prays the following:
O Mary conceived without sin,
the Immaculate Mother of Jesus,
powerful advocate and my tender Mother,
I am very happy to belong to you
and to be one of your privileged Children,

With all my delight, as a married person,

I come to the foot of the altar of God to renew
the Act of Consecration to you my beloved Mother Mary,
because I desire to be still with you and with your family.

Together with my husband and my family,

Accept, O Mother Mary, all my affections and all my love,
as I place in your sacred hands all our hopes our desires
and I consecrate myself to you as I engage
the new chapter with my forever partner of my life

O Mary, the purest of Virgins,

hear your Children now and always.
From the height of your glorious throne,
watch over us with tenderness
in order to protect us against all our enemies.

O my beloved Mother Mary, with your fullness of grace,

light us with the graces of your rings,
and bless us with all our necessities in life.
I deposit in your Immaculate Heart
our consolations and our pains,
our hopes and our fears, be our joy in sorrow,
be our peace in the midst of storms,
be our shield in all combats in life,
be our counsellor in all our proceedings
and be our assured refuge in all our needs,

With your perpetual sacred help,

always be with us in all our ways at all time
and above all do not abandon us at the hour of our death,
so that after having honoured and served you upon earth
with fidelity, we may be united with you in heaven.

I am all yours, and all I have is yours.

O, most loving Jesus, through Mary, your holy Mother,
I am so grateful you for your wondrous gift to me.

Together with the newlywed,

the present members of the Association pray the following:
"O Mary conceived without sin,
pray for us who have recourse to thee!" (3x)

Glory be to the Triune God,

The Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
Amen.

After the prayer,

all members go back to their respective seats.

Announcements may follow.
