In 2002 Rainer Schantl started as a


development engineer at AVL Graz.

He earned experiences in 1D fluid dynamic


simulation, real time simulation, Hardware-in-
the-Loop applications, testbed automation,
measurement technologies as well as
development methodologies in the powertrain
development process in different roles.

Since 2014 he is part of the IODP team


responsible for process innovation &
implementation.

2020 he became a team leader in IODP.
