GUIDELINES FOR RATING

The five (5) groups of researchers are being evaluated in two aspects:
In their Written Research paper and in their Oral Presentation:
Groups are given twenty (20) minutes at most to present their research paper to the panelist orally.
After 20 minutes, the timekeeper will signal the presenter to stop if the allotted time is consumed.
Interpellation and or giving of questions will happen next. Each of the panelists can freely throw his or
her question after picking a name from the group to answer his or her question giving a considerate 20-
second thinking time for the researcher to answer. In an instance where the researcher fails to start
answering after the 20th second, any member of the group can answer the question. Researchers were
rated individually and by group. Notes were to be made by the Research Teacher as to comments and
other points for revision made by the panelists. The duration of each interpellation will not exceed to one-
hour.
As to rating and or scoring of the Written Paper, there were six criteria being looked into;
The Research Question which is rated in a range of 0-20, Supporting Evidence & Body of Knowledge
rated in a range of 0-20, Methodology , still rated in a range of 0-20, Data Gathering, Discussion of
Findings and analysis rated in a range of 0-20, Conclusions and Implications in a range of 0-10 and in
Writing, rated in a range of 0-10. For a total of 100 percent. The range consists of a remark following the
rubric under undeveloped, developing, satisfactory and outstanding.
Likewise, is the guidelines for rating of the Oral Presentation where five criteria is being looked into and
is equally rated in a range of 0-20,The Organization, Delivery, Content, Media and resources and
response to Questions for a total of 100 percent.
Each of the score given by the panelist is to be tabulated to sum up the over-all score of the group.

fill in so to guide the researchers in their paper’s final printing.
