Field Examination Report in Dumri and Jari Blocks for Installation Lift
Irrigation of 25 Units by the Khyati Mahakal

This is a concise report of field visit in two blocks on 27th June, 2022 about the examination of
solar lift irrigation on the village level. Mr. Sanny Kuamr and Avinash Kumar have visited 5 sites
in Dumari and Jari blocks in Gumla.

FINDINGS COMMENTS WITH ENCLOSURE PROOF

Well Covered and repaired as per the standard: Agency has constructed all intake well near to the
river/nala/check-dam where perennial water source is available. They have also made interlink
connection from flowing water level. It won’t let the dry water in the intake well. During the inspection
it has been found that intake well is filled with water and farmers are using the water for irrigation
purpose.

Site identification and Solar Irrigation Status: Agency has selected all sites near to source of water
and Farming Land/field are near to installed solar lift irrigation system. We have visited five location
in which all sites motor were functional and watered in the last outlet. It can be seen in the pictures
clearly. No were we have found damage of pipes or motor housed. No damage of any electric
components. Water pump is even installed of Kirlosker brand which is best in this sector.

Solar Light Not installed: There are no installed solar light has found during the field visit.
Agency has responded that solar light equipment will be installed with a week. Equipment are
being transportation out of the state hence it will be finalized within a week. Agency has to
install two solar light in each five different location.
