Romantic Love Essay

Crafting an essay on the subject of romantic love poses a unique set of challenges. Delving into the
complexities of human emotions, relationships, and the intricate dance of hearts requires a delicate
balance of personal reflection, scholarly analysis, and creative expression. The challenge lies not only
in exploring the universal aspects of love but also in presenting fresh perspectives that engage and
captivate the reader.

One difficulty arises from the vastness of the topic itself. Romantic love encompasses a wide array
of emotions, experiences, and cultural nuances, making it a challenge to condense such richness into
a coherent and impactful essay. Striking the right balance between general concepts and specific
examples, as well as considering various cultural and historical dimensions, adds another layer of
complexity.

Furthermore, the subject demands a nuanced exploration of both the exhilarating highs and the
challenging lows of romantic relationships. Navigating the fine line between idealization and realism
requires a thoughtful approach to avoid oversimplification or clichés. A successful essay on romantic
love should not merely recount common tropes but should offer a nuanced and insightful analysis
that resonates with the reader on a deeper level.

Developing a compelling thesis that captures the essence of romantic love without oversimplifying or
trivializing its intricacies is yet another obstacle. Striving for originality while addressing
fundamental aspects of the topic poses a creative challenge that requires a thorough understanding of
existing literature and a keen sense of literary finesse.

In conclusion, writing an essay on romantic love involves navigating a labyrinth of emotions, cultural
influences, and personal reflections. It demands a careful balance between the universal and the
unique, the idealized and the realistic. Despite these challenges, the opportunity to explore the
profound and multifaceted nature of romantic love can be a rewarding endeavor for those willing to
undertake the journey.

Examples Of A Utopian Society
All throughout history, a common goal is seen. We are always trying to become a
perfect society: a Utopian society. Through the years, many wars has been fought and
many societies has fallen in an effort to reach this goal. There are even many writings
such as Harrison Bergeron , The Giver and The War of the Worlds , which express
what a utopian society might be like. However, is it truly possible for a utopian
society to exist? A Utopian Society is impossible because we all have different
opinions of what we think a perfect world should be, we all are born different, and we
will not have equality in our lifetime. We are all human and everyone makes mistakes.
War, prejudice, and crime are just the beginning of the mistakes we make on a daily
basis. War is a worldwide problem that affects almost everyone. It would be hard to
change from war to peace. Think about Adolph Hitler and how he attempted to push
his idea of a utopian society. His ideas included killing a mass number of people just
because of their ethnicity and beliefs. His mistake caused a world war that changed
history forever. Another big mistake in this world is prejudice. Webster s dictionary
defines prejudice as an irrational attitude of hostility directed against an individual, a
group, a race or their supposed characteristics . The White Supremacy movement is a
great example of prejudice. Their opinion is that white people are superior to all others.
Some have even gone as far as thinking that only blonde hair with blue eyes are
acceptable. We have seen this movement all throughout history. Most of the time, we
have seen it going against black people. The Ku Klux Klanor KKK is a group of people
who use terror in an attempt to purify the American society. The KKK is
predominantly seen in the South but it exists all over our country. They also believe in
the White Supremacy movement and have been known to orchestrate many evils
things in order to get their point across. Prejudice will always hold society back from
being perfect. Crime is also another example of how we mess up. In order to maintain
control, there must be laws set in place. When those laws are broken, a crime is
committed. The criminal must be held responsible and pay
Internet vs Television
Internet vs Television
The internet is more convenient than television when it comes to knowledge. The
internet has more to offer than television, however television provides more accuracy.
When I say that the internet is more convenient, I mean you can look for what to what
and there s a good chance you will find it. If you re looking for things like a TV show, a
video, or even a movie you re most likely to find it. While television provide accuracy on
exactly what is coming on and what time it s going to be coming on, the internet provides

Graceland History
Graceland Over the illustrious history of the campus some of the buildings uses have
changed, or have been restored and changed around. One of the most known buildings to
have its history changed is the grand old Graceland mansion. Each of the numerous 22
buildings on campus have different uses and an exciting history behind them. Graceland
is no different from its beginnings in 1893 to current uses on campus in 2015. In 1893,
Graceland housed Senator Henry Gassaway Davis. It was a more modern mansion for its
time, being that Senator Davis had his hand in designing the colonial mansion. At that
time he had it designed in such a fashion that used many other cultural designs to make
this 19th century home. During the early years of... Show more content on

The grand ole Graceland build in 1893 still stands today in 2015. It, along with the other
buildings on campus have its share of historic moments. It truly is a symbol of what
college students should be, mighty, strong, wise, forceful, and persistent. Its values along
with many others is what shape the actual foundation of the mansion itself. As time has
progressed on, in a little town in eastern West Virginia, it is as though time has taken a
halt. In Elkins West Virginia nestled in the mountain tops a small community on a hill
does its best to preserve history the best way it possibly could by holding one of oldest
buildings in town on its foundation. It is a showing of a time long before, it truly is
something to be celebrated. History, a true design of focus on the Campus of Davis and

The Key Challenge For Academic Achievement
Prompt 5: Describe the most significant challenge you have faced and the steps you have
taken to overcome this challenge. How has this challenge affected your academic
achievement?

Most children grow up fearing the dark or scary monsters in the closet. I grew up
fearing my dad and his alcoholism. When I was in the third grade, my dad always
drove me home from school, and I prayed to God every day that he would be sober.
His breath always reeked of alcohol, and his eyes were constantly bloodshot red. As a
child, I didn t understand the consequences of alcohol until one day, during the ride
home, my dad swerved onto multiple lanes, resulting in loud, alarming sirens. I
remember being in the backseat of his car with my eyes closed, hoping ... Show more

How have you developed and demonstrated that talent over time?

Patience is a virtue, but to me, it is a skill. It has become a trait that I possess in my
relationships with others. As a former assistant to a private tutor, I was granted the
opportunity to teach a variety of students, ranging from kids who just learned how to add
and subtract to those who know how to calculate the slope of a tangent line.
One of my students, Kyle, was a 10 year old boy who struggles with dyslexia. Words
that were simple for others his age to read were difficult for him to understand. From
this, I understood the importance of having patience and multiple perspectives. Every
day, I helped Kyle with his homework, and every day I saw the frustration on his face
when he had difficulty reading. I learned to have patience with not only with him but
also myself. I had to put myself in Kyle s shoes and try not to get frustrated when he
couldn t read a word in order to find the best method of teaching him. Over time, his
reading improved and he slowly was able to differentiate his letters. He no longer
confused his d s with his b s and his q s with his p s. With this, Kyle made me realize that
I was making a difference in someone else s life as well as my own by opening my eyes
to the possibility of working with children in the future.
Patience is difficult to maintain which is why I consider having patience a talent. It is not
something inherent in most people s
Beatitude Essay
I chose the beatitude, Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for
they shall be satisfied . I chose this beatitude due to the fact I believe that it is
extremely important. Surprisingly, I realized that it is important as a result of
numerous people in our society aren t fighting for what is right. For example, the lgbtq
community. The lgbtq community is not being supported by plentiful people. I believe
this is wrong due to the fact everyone should be treated equally and fairly. Not many
people are stepping up and doing what is right. I imagine that if everyone did what was
right, everyone would benefit. Furthermore, everyone would benefit as a result of the
world would be a better place and everyone would understand... Show more content on

The scales show that they re should be some sort of balance that respects both sides and
treats them as equals. I chose to put a chalice and bread into my poster on behalf of it
represents the satisfaction that comes from the relationship with God. I realize this was
important to put into my poster since the beatitude, I chose, describes people s need for
God and the knowledge that they can only live satisfying lives if they are in union with
God. The bread and chalice are just a microscopic portion of the satisfaction that you
will grab from being in union with God. People need God to guide them into true
happiness and satisfaction. God shows us that true happiness does not come from taking
the easy road. God shows us real happiness comes from meeting challenges and
overcoming them. The beatitudes direct us along paths where we would not usually find
happiness. The heart represents the reason of the beatitude. The compassion and love
you earn from helping others. This is another reason why I chose this beatitude honestly,
you understand people and their strengths and weaknesses. I chose to put hands shaking
as a sign of respect. To be equal you must treat others as equals as you would want to be
treated. For example the saying treat others as you want to be treated. This genuinely
