The black crag was originally a mine containing the mineral Orichal. Orichal was created from the blood and bones of a red dragon slain by the wizard Gazkel. Gazkel's apprentice Nara Thul conducted experiments on the Crag to create intelligent automatons from living creatures. Nara Thul later transformed herself into an automaton. The sunken city of Zenith now contains sea spawn mutations, koalinth, and the undead remnants of its original inhabitants. At its heart lies the last survivor, a mutant terror bird created by elf experiments in bio-transference.

A Jagged monolith piercing the waves, encircled by a
palisade of giant black spikes.
Its fanged mouth greedily swallows the sea, the waters echo into the darkness with a hollow roar. Waves slam splintered ship hulls at the base of the Crag. The dense spikes prevent vessels larger than a rowboat from getting within 1,000’.
• The black crag originally was a mine of a mineral
called Orichal , which the city of Gazkel the enchanter (Called Zenith) was built upon , when the city fell it fell through the black crag destroying most of the Orichal veins on impact.
• Orichal was a red dragon that Gazkel slayed with magic
, the blood and bones of the creature seeped through the stones of the mountain and created the mineral.
• Nara Thul , Gazkel’s apprentice and the 3rd ruler of
the city built the mutation machine and conducted several experiments to create intelligent Orichal automatons from the flesh of living creatures with different combinations.
• Nara Thul , as the city was falling , used the device
on herself and turned into an automaton who fled the city as the rest of the inhabitants turned into undead drowned , but records of her experiments and discoveries were already popular news at the time and some of these records fell into the hands of some researchers in the modern day.
The crag has 4 levels :
1. The undead crew of Janzoon crawling through dark caves
, brought to life by the powers of the obsidian idol
2. Dark caves filled with Merrow and their Aquatic
zombies , trying to perform a profane ritual to their demonic patron
3. The city of zenith , ruined , populated by sea spawn
mutations and koalinth
4. The Heart of zenith , the lab where the mutation
experiments of Bio Transference were conducted and the Orichal magical items were crafted. Here lies the Heir , the last survivor of the city of Zenith.
The heir is a mutant , the last mutant , created by
the elves in their experiments on Bio Transference which the elves considered as practice in playing gods before trying to replace them.
This hunched pale terror bird has metallic
augmentations crackling with green electricity , rusty wings and scraps of armor strapped to his back and rip cage.
The heir was approached by the robot knights to create
