Teacher's Outline:

Introduction: It is normal to have butterflies running in your belly for the opposite sex, it is just a
natural biological reaction but it is not love. How you handle the feeling is what matters. Just because
you have such feelings does not mean you should engage in sexual impurity. abstinence is about
pleasing God and yourself.

Aim and objective.

To seek wholly after a pure HEART before God, which in turn leads to pure thoughts, pure hands, pure
lips, and a pure marriage. That all teenagers and youths have a level of purity that holds no question, no
ambiguity, and no shame. A level of purity that will lead them to a beautifully godly spouse and give
them the real gift that God intended to give them in marriage.

What is Sexual purity, (get response from the students)

Sexual purity means Staying away from any form of immorality. For example: Sexual intercourse,
Masturbation, pornography, impure thoughts. seeking wholly after a pure HEART before God.

*Sharing of tracts/pledge card

*Story (Get 2 Students to read the tract, while others read along.

*Just like Gold/Money is very rare to find, therefore your body shouldn't be easily accessible because
you are worth more than Gold and money, this applies to both male and female alike.

Causes of Sexual impurity

1. Sexual molestation.
2. Rape.
3. Peer pressure
4. Quest for mundane things(Momey, phone, Shawarma and food as funny as it sounds)
5. what you watch, what you see, what you hear.(Pop up ads, Explicit music video, Lyrics of songs,
Adult rated movies, etc)

Consequences of Sexual impurity: What happens when you loose guard? Or if you make a
mistake? (Teachers can get responses from students)

1.Guilt. 2.Abortion. 3.Low self-esteem. 4. STDs- Sexually transmitted Diseases. 5.School dropout. 6.
Addiction to Sex that causes distraction. 7.Mind pollution. 8.It can cause spiritual problems (Sex and
Sexual related activities is not just physical, it is also spiritual)

How to Maintain sexual purity: Sexual purity is not just a choice, it is a decision followed with
Determination, backed up by action. Standing out against all emotional struggles of peer pressure. In
order to maintain sexual purity, take the following seriously as you move ahead in life.

1. Avoid being alone with the opposite sex.

2. Set boundaries (avoid rough play with the opposite sex, including your siblings).

3. Determination. Fill your mind with positive thoughts(what you see,what you hear, what you say etc)

4. Get closer to God.

5. Make a pledge/commitment to God.

6. Talk to a counselor or trusted person of the same gender about your struggles and avoid every form
of temptation.

Remedy for Sexual impurity

Whenever there is a will, there is surely a way out. You might have felt condemned,guilt, frustrated and
rejected. God loves you and he wants you to be free. Go back to the points we mentioned in maintaining
sexual purity. It is very hard to abstain if you've gotten yourself involved already, but it is very possible.
Ask God for forgiveness and the grace to stop and be commited to a lifestyle of Purity. See a councellor.
(The male should see a male councellor and the female should see a female councellor, or talk to any of
our volunteer)
