SINGLES AND SEXUALITY

(Mastering Sexual Urges)
INTRODUCTION
Every normal human being feels sex urge at some point along puberty (18+). It is a hormonal
function (Testosterone).
There are several factors attached to this urge:
✓ High level of libido due to certain ingestions
✓ Social factor
✓ Environmental factor
✓ Psychological factor
✓ Emotional factor and so on
Sexual urge is a sweet and seemingly uncontrollable feeling that was designed to be enjoyed
within the confines of marriage but many who defy God’s command and plan concerning sex are
being caught and destroyed in that web. Only those who will choose to discipline themselves will
champion the feeling and help others out of the same pit. I am a living testimony. And that’s why I
took out time to share a little about myself so as to let my audience know that I'm neither a super
human nor a robot but a normal human being, talking from experience.
MY EXPERIENCE
I had my first masturbation in secondary school after a class where our Agric/Biology teacher
ended a class on mating...

When I got back home, I tried some stunts and was surprised at the outcome; it felt like “Wow!”
Since then, I scout for places I would be alone so I could masturbate (for self sexual
satisfaction). After some time, I graduated to PORN LEVEL ONE -viewing nude pictures; then to
LEVEL TWO –viewing “blue film”. At this point, I was drawn to songs that made matters worse,
seductive dances, suggestive lyrics and so on; and finally, I got disvirgined at age 19, by a lady
of 21. Let me say this: I celebrate you, if you are still a virgin. It is a glorious gift. I wish I didn't
lose mine. If others see you as STRANGE, I see you as STRONG. If they see you as object of
JEST, I see you as GUEST OF HONOUR. Revelation 14:4-5 talks about those who have not
defiled themselves with women; Songs of Solomon 8:8-10 talks about a silver palace for the
virgin lady but a covering of wood, if disvirgined. I knew I had lost something when I got
disvirgined. I felt bad for a while and later normality was restored, although I always felt a part of
me condemning me. (That’s a sign that my conscience was still alive -all thanks to Jesus!).
Somewhere along the line, I considered deeply the two worlds of youth, that is, lifestyles and
possible outcomes of our choices and actions as youths:

I had friends on both sides -the set of friends who FEARED GOD and as a result, fled evil; and
those who DARED GOD and consequently lived carelessly. So I realized I was left with a
choice! To cut the long story short, I MADE A DECISION to live a YOUTHFUL AND USEFUL
LIFE. From that time till this moment, I have never regretted leaving the other sinful side of life;
And coming over to the positive side… That’s the best decision I have ever made in my life! All
thanks to Jesus who saved my life. Dear reader, it's not too late for you to make a U-turn like I
did. You can still be a virgin in Christ. (2Corinthians 11:2). Just decide. You can never know the
possibility of a thing until you attempt it.
If 60% guys were SINGLE BROTHERS and 60% ladies, SINGLE MOTHERS, it means
something is fishy. Women seem to be more at the receiving end; they easily fall on the
unfavourable side of the coin.
Rape cases are becoming more alarming. The truth is, no man is born a rapist, some men just
happen to become one. Whether or not abortion is legalized, it has become a progressive
practice; homosexualism (sex between man and man), lesbianism (sex between females),
beastiality (sex between man and animal), pedophiliac practices (sex between an adult and a
child) and so on are the trending practices; sex dolls have been introduced to replace the need
for a partner for sexual satisfaction, thereby encouraging massive masturbation. All these boil
down to lack of self-control and the insatiability of sex urge. Some TV stations, Radio stations,
media entertainment shows, programs and jingles, musical lyrics, videos and dance moves or
styles, movies and social media posts are all platforms that the kingdom of darkness is using to
promote sexuality in immoral ways. We live in a world where immoral sexuality (practice) trends
tend to tread down spirituality but YOU AND I CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE! NO MORE HIDING;
LET’S MAKE IT HAPPEN. BE PROUD OF HOLY LIVING. WE ARE THE ONES TO MAKE
THOSE WHO LIVE BY THE WORLD’S STANDARD FEEL INDIFFERENT OR LEFT OUT, NOT
THE OTHER WAY ROUND. SEXUAL PURITY IS ATTAINABLE! YES!!!
SEX
Sex means copulation (that is, sexual interaction or sexual intercourse) between at least two
organisms involving vaginal and/or anal and/or oral penetration. Our focus here however will be
on sex between humans. Sex before marriage is FORNICATION, and sex outside marriage is
ADULTERY. Only sex within the context and confines of marriage (SEX BETWEEN MARRIED
COUPLES) is regarded as HOLY COPULATION in God’s sight. It is a BIG MISTAKE to
PARTAKE of the PLEASURE and not want to UNDERTAKE the resultant PRESSURE. The truth
is, sex is spiritual.

A soul-tie occurs, thereby making you a partaker of whatever curse operational on that person's
life -destinies get destroyed; glory gets lost. Sex is only safe when done at the right time and
with the right person.
An average young man is ready for sex but not for marriage; while an average young lady
sheepishly gives sex, thinking the guy would stay. Someone said "Sex is not an audition for
marriage"; meaning, sex is not a prerequisite course that you must pass before you marry. That
others are doing it doesn't make it right.
“Marriage is honourable among all, and the bed undefiled: but
fornicators and adulterers God will judge." - Hebrews 13:4
That is God’s verdict. Anything outside that attracts God’s judgment.
I understand you might be thinking you have gone too far and you think it is impossible to turn
back. Don't hate yourself for your past mistakes and don't tame yourself in the shame. I dare
you to get back up and move right on. Receive grace!

MASTURBATION

Masturbation involves manual stimulation of the genitals or other sensitive regions of the body
(either by oneself or a partner) to orgasm. As I mentioned before, it is a means and act of self
sexual satisfaction. Some call it habit, some call it spiritual spouse, while some just see it as fun
but it is a bondage of addiction just like drug abuse that even some married people engage in at
any slight friction. You starve your partner and then go to the bathroom to ease off your sexual
urge -you are just being wicked! I have heard some single mothers say to me that they had had
enough of men so they resolved to getting a masturbator to replace men in their lives. You are
just being carnal! Masturbation is a demon that confronts singles, single parents and even the
married. It can trap anybody! Have you ever wondered why the urge to masturbate comes
strongly on you when you are alone?
Let me share again the case of a young man. Each time he was alone and the thing came (the
urge), he would run to the church or where people were. He did it prayerfully for several days
and he became free. I can keep talking on this alone for a long time with examples, but let's
move on now. The bottom line is that masturbation is a satanic bondage. That bondage is like a
room where nude picture is the wallpaper, ‘blue film’ is the TV, sexual song is the sound system,
immorality is the bed; now imagine the devil shuts the door from behind after entering… But I
see you breaking out of that bondage; I see you coming out of that room with a shout of
VICTORY AND EQUIPPED WITH GRACE TO HELP OTHERS, HALLELUJAH!

PRACTICAL STEPS TO BE FREE

Over the years, God has helped me come up with ways of escape and sustainability through
personal experiences and the testimonies of other people.
1 Corinthians 10:13
"No temptation has overtaken you except such as is common to man;
but God is faithful, who will not allow you be tempted beyond what
you are able, but with the temptation will also make the way of
escape, that you may be able to bear it."
I perceive in my spirit that even before you got to this part, you have begun to make some
positive decisions to be a YOUTHFUL AND USEFUL VESSEL, FIT FOR THE MASTER'S USE.
1. Acknowledge the Fact that you are into a Sinful Act and in Satanic Bondage.
"And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free." -
John 8:32
Freedom begins at knowing and accepting the truth.
2. Genuine Repentance

" If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and
to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." - 1 John 1:9
Genuine repentance comes when we confess and forsake old life. At this point, Jesus
comes to wash you and create in you a clean heart.
3. Avoid Being Alone or Idle
(This is for starters and it's just for a while) Mingle with the right people. Remember, an idle
mind is the devil's workshop. Also, avoid sex chats or being alone in a compromising state,
with the opposite sex
4. Prayer and Fasting
In prayer, give your weakness to God. Prayer strengthens your spirit while fasting humbles
your flesh. It helps check addiction level and helps you develop self-control.
5. Word of God
“Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom, teaching and
admonishing one another…" - Colossians 3:16

The more of God's word you have in you, the more the bullet in your spiritual riffle. Satan
could not stand the 3 bullets Jesus shot at him in Matthew 4. (Deuteronomy 8:3; Psalms
91:11; Deuteronomy 6:16). Imagine if Jesus didn't have those words in Him. Remember,
“The Spirit plus The Word equals Sword”. So the Word of God in your mouth is the Sword of
the Spirit in your hand!
6. Cut off
Yeah, you have to cut off every source that your flesh feeds on.
"But put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the
flesh, to fulfill its lusts." - Romans 13:14
Take note of “lusts”, it's in plural form; representing the likes of fornication, masturbation,
adultery, pornography, etc.) Stop making provisions for the flesh. What are the provisions?
Porn sites, porn videos, nasty friends, unholy relationships, sexual TV channels, seductive
songs and movies. Fumigate your phone and PC from every worldly song, pornographic
materials, immoral and ungodly sites… DELETE IT NOW! Don't spare any immoral thing or
waste any more time! "YOU DON'T QUENCH A FIRE HALFWAY BECAUSE IT WILL
SPREAD AGAIN." (O.B.D.'s Adage Book).
7. Move Out of your Old (Sinful) Associations and Move into New (Godly) Ones
"He that walks with wise men will be wise, but the companion of fools
will be destroyed." - Proverbs 13:20
Association is highly influential in character building. If all your friend talks about is sex,
party, drugs, clubbing… RUN!!!
"But you, O man (woman) of God, flee (RUN FROM) these things;
and pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience,
gentleness." - 1 Timothy 6:11
It's time to go back to that good friend that you once nicknamed “HOLY HOLY”, “SU”, “MARY
AMAKA”, “BRO…”, “PASTOR”… Those are the people that will help shape your life for
better.

Let us pray…

Dear father, I am a sinner, please forgive me. I have lived a sinful life; please forgive me; wash
me; Come into my life, Jesus and be my Lord and my Saviour; lavish your grace on me and
help me never to go back to my sinful ways again. May sin not have Dominion over me
anymore, in Jesus’ name - Amen.

Dear father, I thank you for this soul that you have saved from the cage of masturbation, porn,
addiction, fornication and adultery today. Take all the glory. I pray for you, beloved, you are
forgiven; you are free, in Jesus’ name. EVERY LOST GLORY IS RESTORED RIGHT NOW…
Someone, immediately after having that sex, you saw yourself in the dream picking snails.
Another person, you saw yourself in the mud.
Another person, you saw yourself falling from a height.
Another, someone shaved the hair on your head.
Another, you have been having sex in the dream…
TODAY, AS YOU HAVE MADE THE RIGHT DECISION, I BREAK THE CURSE OF DELAY AND
BACKWARDNESS IN YOUR LIFE; BEGIN TO GO FORWARD, IN JESUS’ NAME! TAKE BACK
YOUR GLORY!
NOW, GO AND SIN NO MORE.
JESUS LOVES YOU.
