This reminds us that humans have the capacity to - To know you want to quit but to plant your feet
choose their own path. and keep inching closer until you take the
impenetrable fortress you’ve decided to lay
1. Failure can be a benefit siege to in your own life — that’s persistence.
- failures are opportunities for success
- it gives the drive to improve
2. There is more than one way to solve a
problem
- no problem is unsolvable
- all problems have solutions
3. Obstacles teaches us as much about our
inner working as our outer world
- we learn more about ourselves rather than our
surroundings
4. Obstacles make you angry, which is a
great thing
- anger makes u stronger when overcoming
problems
5. Obstacles reminds us to stay present
- When we think too much about the problems
piling up in the future, we forget to pay attention
to the things immediately in front of us. Problem-
solving is a Zen practice.
6. We apply meaning to a puzzle, not the
other way around
- your own definition of problem
- there is no good or bad without us, there is
only perception
7. Things are worth doing. It’s not just about
getting the right answer
- you learn from the process and apply it to other
things
8. It is the obstacle that curves out our
integrity, not the other way around
- our morality is shaped by what we learn from
the obstacles we face.
9. It’s okay to be discourage, it’s not okay to
quit
- discouragement is one pillar for success to be
achieved
