Analysis Of No Pda !
Emotions No PDA! I will continue to hear through out my day when I went from class
to class at the midst of passing period during high school and middle school. I never
knew what teachers meant by saying that until they would start to get on my case about
showing some affection to the girlfriend I had at that time. That was when I learned that
PDA abbreviates Public Display of Affection and one of the first times I learned an
American display rule. At the same time, I believe some manners may contribute to the
display rules. Then, the topic of it is unmanly for a man to show their emotions. The
other discussion about holding in anger opposed to expressing it. I believe there are
limitations to how menshow their emotions, but I do believe that men should be able to
show their emotions. Also, anyone should be able express his or her emotions instead
of holding it and letting it all come out all at once. First, Some of the American display
rules are manners. As an example, when I was younger I was taught it is unacceptable to
belch and not say excuse me at the table with even if the situation is accidental. My
motherwould poke arm or pinch my arm as punishment until I would say those majestic
words to make my arm stop hurting. I completely understand why burping at without
saying excuse me is unacceptable now. No one wants to hear anyone else let out gas in
any way. It may have a disgusting same that follows it, and is so unexpected that the
belch may offend someone.
Causes Of The First Kashmir War
Tensions between India and Pakistan can be traced to the partition of British India to
form independent India and Pakistan in 1947. The princely states were forced to decide
whether to accede to either Pakistan or India. This British policy opened the region up to
conflict over the princely state of Kashmirand two others. The territorial dispute over
Kashmir led to the First Kashmir War in 1947. This paper attempts to explain this
conflict using different levels of analysis. This paper first explains the historical
context of the war to show the causes of the war. Then this paper goes on to explain the
war using different levels to analysis to determine that dyadic levels and individual
decision making levels all explain the First Kashmir War occurred. The steps to war
theory, rational choice, and psychological models all help to explain why Pakistanand
India decided went to war over the Kashmir Region.
Following the partition of British India, the princely regions had to decide whether to
accede into India or Pakistan. Kashmir was led by a Hindu monarch, Maharaja Hari Singh
, and he ruled over a majority Muslim population (Ganguly 15). For this reason,
Maharaja had a difficult time deciding which state to join. This indecision frustrated
Pakistan and pro Pakistani forces within Kashmir, and rebellions broke out in the
Poonch region of Kashmir in October 1947. The First Kashmir War began on 22
October, 1947 with the invasion by Pakistani forces into the Kashmir region
Stoetson Kennedy Anecdotes
The various facts, statistics, anecdotes, and studies used in chapter 2 are as follows:
the lynching of blacks from 1890 1969 statistic, the outline of Stetson Kennedy s
efforts to take down the KKK, Drew Pearson s radio report from November 17, 1948,
the price of term life insurance falling in the 1990s, David Hillis New York Times
article, the Weakest Link voting data, commonly used real estate terms, the dating site
data, and the New York 1989 mayoral race. I found the outline of Stetson Kennedy s
efforts to be the most convincing piece of evidence; The anecdote is a primary
example of how powerful information can be, how hoarding it is extremely effective for
inducing fear, and how revealing it empowers the public. I found the price term of life
insurance falling in the 1990s to be the second most... Show more content on

When it comes to Latinos, the authors tell us that Other contestants seem to view
Latinos as poor players, even when they are not. (77) There is no evidence stating how
well Latinos performed; The only proof of discrimination given is that contestants
supposedly see them as poor players, but not that the Latinos chosen weren t poor
players in the first place. Similarly, the authors claim that the elderly are eliminated far
out of proportion to their skills. (77) Again, the claim contains no evidence that they
possessed good or bad skills. This major lack of context and evidence that voters
claimed to be fair minded makes for a very flawed example of people hoarding
information to manipulate their appearance. The authors, Steven D. Levitt and Stephen
J. Dubner, use blatant examples, statistics, and their economic background to establish
credibility with the reader. I believe they are being honest, because they provide the
names of the events and statistics provided, allowing the reader to simply look up the

Should Andrew Jackson Be On The 20 Dollar Bill Essay
Some may say Andrew Jackson was the King of America during his reign of presidency
because of his strong and commanding leadership and because of this he should not be
on the twenty dollar bill, but he actually had a great impact on the United States as it is
today including the less fortunate class in the democracy. Andrew Jacksongrew up losing
his family to illness like flies. Jackson became president in 1828 and his childhood
struggles fueled his personality. The main reasons why Andrew Jackson should be on
the twenty dollar bill are he did what was beneficial for the future of the country, not
what was popular, he broadened the democracy from the wealthy class to the lower socio
economic classes by shutting down the Bank of the United... Show more content on

The Bank of the United States was where the money was backed up by gold, and it
severely favored the wealthy people of the time. Andrew Jackson recognized this and
heeded the lower socio economic classes calls and shut down the Bank of the United
States. This act alone highlights the idea that Jackson wants to make his country fair and
the national bank was corrupt in his eyes. A quote that exemplifies the corruptness of the
Bank of the United States is, The bank has made the rich richer, the powerful more
potent and has left the humble members of our society the farmers, mechanics and
laborers to complain about the injustices of their own government (Document 5). This
quote summarizes the Bank of the United States favoring of the wealthy. Andrew
Jackson saw this and because the humble members of their society were complaining
about the favoring of the wealth and the injustices, Jackson decided to take action. The
government no longer favored the rich and neglected the poor but represented each of
them equally. Jackson grew up without a lot of money and understood what is was like
to be taken advantage of. In summary, Andrew Jackson belongs of the twenty dollar bill
because of his effort to broaden the democracy in the United

mars and venus: comparing the chacmool with the woman of willendorf Modern
figurines of art stem directly from the hands of the ancient s. The organic forms of
modernly sculpted artifacts can most likely be directly referenced to the movements of
prehistoric artworks. There seems to be an ongoing transition on how cultures no matter
how stretched apart through time, contrasted by ethnicity or religious views; can all be
somewhat related to each other by the methods or principles portrayed through their
artworks. In fact, I saw that very transition; within two works in which are extremely
different in meaning, craftsmanship, time, culture and so on. However, I was still able to
find similarities within the artifacts. In this paper I will examine Venus of Willendorf, a
Paleolithic carving in limestone; which can fit in the palm of one s hand. As well as,
The Sacrifice of Chacmool, which are a plethora of Mesoamerican statues emulating
rituals of sacrifice. The Chacmool figures are always portrayed with their heads looking
at their sides and their backs to the ground, upon their stomachs are bowls in which
people would place offerings to the gods. The Chacmool s primary function was to hold
offerings for rituals; the offerings would range from common foods to human organs.
Archeologist suggests that the figures were found in ruins of the ancient cities
Teotihuacan and Tula. They suggest that the works
Heart Sutra Essay
The Heart Sutra is the english translation for Prajnaparamita Hrdaya Sutra from Sanskrit,
the philosophical language of buddism. From its roots, this holy scripture is said to feed
the bodhisattva with the amrita (nectar) of prajna (transcendental wisdom) and bring him
to paramita (the other shore). In other words it is how the budhisattva was enlightened
and attained the perfection of understanding.

It became so famous it was published as an article on MSN Sankei News. Additonally
to those strange remixes version, a monk decided to upload a video of himself using the
actual Buddhist altar equipment ( butsugu) covering the video. This video went on
Television NHK. Because of all those phenomenon related to the Hannya Shingyo, they
decided to call this period the DaiKukai Jidai.
This music video is non sense for me, the whole video is a cartoon situated in a temple
or shrine, where Kukai is hitting the mokugyo while Hatsune Miku chants and hits the
meditation Gong. My question is why Hatsune Miku is there? Maybe because it was
funny to put her in this situation or maybe it was because it was funny to make sing
Heart Sutra to a vocaloid.
I don t really know what Kukai reaction would be if he see this video...
I think he will be mad about it, because it s direspectful for all the time he have spent
into understanding this text in a thoughtful way. To see that the scripture has become a
joke with this video and is nowadays put on the net to make a hit. Especially the part
where they put a Hatsune Miku wig on his head, I think he will be
Information About The Housing Patterns, Libraries And...
As an educational leader, one must be aware of the assets of the community served by the
school, where the students coexist outside the walls of the school, and what the
community offers to those who reside in it. The aim of this report is to convey
information about the housing patterns, libraries and bookstores, food resources,
hospitals and healthcare providers, social and community agencies, recreational settings,
and activities located in this community and its impact on equity. The method used to
gather information about the community in the attendance zone for Richard J Wilson

a clue to the socio economic conditions of a community. The level of homeownerships
gives a picture of how vested residents are in a community. Usually a homeowner is
more invested in a community and its maintenance than a tenant because they have
literally invested their capital in that community. (REALTORS®, August 2010) The
US Census (2011 2015) showed higher levels of rented accommodations instead of
homeownership in this area (Figure 5). This was also observed during the community
walk. Figure 5: Proportion of Households with Various Income Sources in 76110 in

estimated 28% of owners had mortgages, 16% of owners had no mortgages, and 55% of

In Defense of the Crusades

On this account I, or rather the Lord, beseech you as Christ s heralds to publish this
everywhere and to persuade all people of whatever rank, foot soldiers and knights,
poor and rich, to carry aid promptly to those Christians and to destroy that vile race
from the lands of our friends. I say this to those who are present, it meant also for those
who are absent. Moreover, Christ commands it Pope Urban the II. The Pope ordered this
mandate explicitly for the sake of Rescuing fellow Christians from invasion and
persecution. The holy lands surrounding jerusalem and other provinces in northern Africa
had been at a point Christian strongholds, they weren ... Show more content on

The historical has been replaced by the rhetorical and it needs to be challenged at the
very least held in a more balanced presentation of history. We must present facts as they
are.
The aggressor that provoked the Crusades in all fairness can be said to be the
Mohammedans they stormed through eastern Christendom, all the lands which are
now arab (with the exception of Saudi Arabia) were Christian lands Egypt, Tunisia,
Libya, Algeria, Morocco, Sudan these were Christian lands for centuries before Islam
ever made it s appearance. None of these places went over willingly they were
conquered by the sword or enslaved. The Crusades were the first coordinated
resistance against the Islamic invasion into Christian lands. To say the Crusaders were
wrong is like saying it s wrong to reclaim stolen property through force. So when the
Pope called forth this war by all notions of justice this was a just war. To defend your
land from invaders is something most concede to as being a legitimate reason for war.
