Persuasive Essay On School Lunches
Many of us have attended school once in our life. And many of us have tasted the
dreadful school lunches that are served. Various people believe that schools need to
provide more food in a meal. Society has been conversing about the nutrious value in a
school meal and they wonder if the meat in the lunches are real or completely fake beef .
Schoollunches have become even more unacceptable and need to be re thought for the
health of the younger generations.

To start off school lunches have become more insufficient. The normal lunch meal
consists of a protein, carb, and a vegetable. Does not sound that bad, right? Well, it is a
very small portion of each protein, carb, and vegetable. Most people s warranted worry is
the athletes, these ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The general public think Mcdonald s meat is unhealthy, the school lunch meat is even
more sickly. A school s burger has a lot of unknown ingredients to the everyday person
and most likely is very unhealthy for anyone who eats it. People used to believe that
fast food chains were the number one reason for childhood obesity. But after reading
what Leah Segedie mentioned, society may think that school lunches might have moved
up to the main reason for obesity for the younger generations. A school lunch has up to
26 unneeded ingredients in one school burger, and this needs to be fixed. In addition,
there is no nutritious value in a single school lunch. Amanda Ray wrote, Processed foods
that are high in fat, sugar, and salt have become a mainstay of lunches in schools across
America and the results are in, experts say these unhealthy school lunches are a
contributing factor to the childhood obesity epidemic. This shows that school lunches are
absolutely unhealthy and school lunches has increased childhood obesity. It would be
smarter if families across the United States would pack a more natural and nutritious
school lunch for their student starting at a young age. The high in fat, sugar, or salt cause
children to become overweight and very
Cyber Predators And Its Effects On Children
Introduction: The cyber crime I have chosen is cyber predators. Cyber predators are
individuals who commit sexual abuse that begins or takes place on the Internet. Although
the Internet did not create child predators, it has significantly increased the opportunities
predators have to meet victims while minimizing detection. They can communicate with
children anonymously through instant messaging, social networking sites, chat rooms,
message boards, and even cell phones. Online predators do not fit any one mold or
stereotype; seemingly upstanding citizens have been caught enticing children for
sexual acts. Contrary to popular belief, most online predators are not pedophiles.
Pedophiles target pre pubescent children, while online predators typically target
adolescents who engage in risky online behavior. (Wolak J, Finkelhor D, Mitchell K,
Ybarra M. 2008). Describe the type of cybercrime you selected. Predators take
advantage of children s natural vulnerabilities, such as their desire to appear adult or
their need for attention. Grooming is the process through which predators play on these
vulnerabilities by offering children gifts and attention. It does not happen overnight.
Grooming can be a long process that a patient, tenacious predator has planned and
perfected to gain a child s trust. This grooming may lead to the child s willingness to
meet the person with whom he or she is chatting. Offenders will often entice a child into
a face to face meeting by
Cohabitation Before Marriage
Did you know that over half of all first marriages are now preceded by living together
compared to virtually none 50 years ago? The number of unmarried couples living
together increased tenfold from 1960 to 2000. The number of unmarried couples living
together increased 72% between 1990 and 2000. By the year 2010, if the present trend
continues, there will be 7 married couples for every cohabiting couple. (Cohabitation
Facts, Cohabitation It s Training for Divorce Chuck Colson (1995). Here are some
statistics on cohabitating couples. These numbers show that as times go on more and
more people will be living together before marriage. What is your opinion on cohabitation
before marriage? Is this something that you see yourself doing in... Show more content on

Second, economical advantages do not determine whether something is morally right or
wrong.
Third, the majority of cohabitants do eventually break up and economics are
obviously not a problem then, so why allow it to become a controlling factor from the
start. The moral questions is, What is my virginity worth and Will I save myself for
my lifelong spouse? Kevin Leman in Smart Kids, Stupid Choices says, It s kind of
like giving someone a million dollars and later finding out you gave it to the wrong
person, but now he s gone and so is your money. Gone for good. You don t have it
anymore. And the person who should have had it will now never get it. A 2005 study,
published in the Journal of Marriage and the Family (Smock) viewed the relationship
between economic uncertainty and relationship conflict. Researchers interviewed 115
young adults in Toledo, Ohio, who were cohabiting or had recently cohabited. They
found that among cohabiters financial uncertainty and a lack of money were greatly
associated with the relationships conflicts and the lack of a sense of a stable future, thus
choosing the decision to marry.
In a recent statement by the Catholic Bishops of Pennsylvania they said, Sure, you might
save the price of monthly rent, but you re sacrificing something more valuable.
Engagement is more than just time to plan the party. It is a time for deeper discussion
and more thorough reflection, which are best carried out in a detached way.
