Solid or Color Block Case:

• Medium Weight Yarn/4 desired color(s)
• U.S. Size E/3.5mm Crochet Hook
• Finishing Needle
• Stitch Marker

ABBREVIATIONS:

Approx = Approximately
Ch = Chain
Dc = Double Crochet
Hdc = Half Double Crochet
Inc = Increase (Increase = 2 Sc in same ST) GAUGE:
MR= Magic Ring
After 2 rounds your work should be approx. 2” long and 3/4” wide
Sc = Single Crochet
Sl St = Slip Stitch
ST(S) = Stitch(es) MEASUREMENTS:

Tip: Approx. 2” wide x 2 3/8” tall and 3/4” deep

PATTERN INSTRUCTIONS:
*Choose desired design & start with main/bottom color: Round 2: Ch 1, 1 Sc in next 8 ST, 2 Sc in next ST, 1 Sc in next 8
ST, 2 Sc in last ST. Sl St to first Sc of round. (20 Sc made in
Case Bottom: round)

Ch 9 Rounds 3-4: Ch 1, 1 Sc in each ST around. Sl St to 1 Sc of

Round 1: 1 Sc in 2nd Ch from hook and in next 2 Ch, Ch 2, Skip
next 2 Ch (this will create opening for charger), 1 Sc in next 2 Ch,
3 Sc in last Ch ST. Turn your work so that you are now working
the back side of the Chain row. 1 Sc in next 6 Ch ST, 2 Sc in
last ST. Join with Sl St to 1st Sc of round. (18 Sc made in round)
**Place a ST marker in the 1st Sc of each round moving
forward. The Ch1 at the beginning of each round will not
count in ST count.
Round 2: Ch 1, 1 Sc in next 8 ST, 2 Sc in next ST, 1 Sc in next 8
ST, 2 Sc in last ST. Sl St to first Sc of round. (20 Sc made in
round)
Rounds 3-8: Ch 1, 1 Sc in each ST around. Sl St to 1 Sc of
round. (20 Sc made, each round)

Round 5: Sl ST in each Sc around. Fasten off and leave a tail long
enough to attach to case bottom. Weave in start of yarn. (20 Sl St
made)
Finishing:
Line up case bottom and case top (see photo,
right). With tail of yarn from top of case, whip ST
the top and bottom of the case along the back
together, do this evenly across the middle 8 STS.
Weave in end of tail.
If you would like to design your case to one of the
themes (Avocado, Apple, or Peach) find and follow
the appropriate finishing instructions for each
design.

Round 9: Sl ST in each Sc around. Fasten off and weave in ends.

Case Top: (If you are making a color block pattern switch to
desired top color now)

Ch 9

Round 1: 1 Sc in 2nd Ch from hook and in next 6 Ch, 3 Sc in last

Ch ST. Turn your work so that you are now working the back
side of the Chain row. 1 Sc in next 6 Ch ST, 2 Sc in last ST. Join
with Sl St to first Sc of round. (18 Sc made in round)
