1.) What moment has changed Sam’s life?

When he decided to leave his job and start

his own business.

2.) What moment has changed Jane’s life?

When she went skydiving and there

was a problem with her parachute.
Mike: Have you ever had one of those moments that changes your whole view on life?

Sam: For me, it was when I decided to leave my job and start my own business. It was something I'd been thinking of for a while, but I'd only ever
worked in boring office jobs. I had such a narrow view of what was possible in life; I had no idea it was even possible to be your own boss.

Jane: That’s true. Sometimes, it's so difficult to step out of our comfort zones, but it's important that we do it. I know people back home who have
essentially been living the same life for the last ten years; doing the same things and going to the same places.

Mike: That sounds a lot like you, Sam.

Sam: It definitely was. At the time, though, I didn't realize anything was missing. Seeing the success that you'd had with your business really opened
my eyes to new possibilities. What about you, Jane? What moment changed your life?

Jane: Without a doubt, it was when I went skydiving and there was a problem with the parachute.

Mike: I remember that. Weren’t you seconds away from dying?

Jane: Yes. Luckily, I was able to release my backup parachute after struggling with the main one for what seemed like forever. The other guys that I
was diving with said that if I'd pulled it 5 or 6 seconds later, I would have been dead.

Sam: That’s insane.

Jane: It was terrifying, of course, but I'm glad it happened.

Mike: How come?

Jane: It showed me that life is temporary; that it could end at any moment. That was when I decided to live my life as if it could end tomorrow. I try
to enjoy every day and make a positive impact in people's lives. You never know when it'll be your last day. I don't want to have any regrets.
