    Environmental problems are a major global problem, which
    makes the planet stop creating favorable conditions for life.
    Slide 3: Causes
    Burning fossil fuels;
    Increased deforestation;
    Emission of polluting gases;
    Ground pollution;
    Pollution of water resources;
    Slide 4: Consequences
    The sea level will rise.
    The beds of some rivers and lakes may dry out.
    The number of droughts could increase.
    Reserves of drinking water for the survival of human beings
    may decrease.
    Many animal and plant species may become extinct.
