RADIATING COAXIAL CABLE

Radiating Standard Clamp

Radiating Clamps plastic systems

1/2" | 5/8” | 7/8” | 1-1/4” | 1-5/8”
Clic clamps for wall mounting
Clic clamps are used for installing radiating cables in gal-
leries and tunnels with or without spacers. The
installation is very simple and quick.

Stainless Stell Cable Clamps are used to provide Fire

Resistant installations of Radiating Cables in galleries or
tunnels with or without spacers.

The installation is very simple and quick. To limit the

interference that could be caused by Metal Objects on
the RF field generated by a Radiating Cable, only every
10th fixing should be metallic.

APPLICATIONS

• Transportation

Tunnels the Transportation Segment and Mining.

It is inconceivable to imagine Radio Communication Services in this Segment without the use of Radiating Cables, as the sheer
multitude of frequencies used makes it difficult to use Antennas.

In addition, the high level of Flame and Fire retardancy of Eupen Radiating Cables plays a key role in making these confined areas a
safer place.

• Generally, we differentiate between the following:

Road Tunnels, predominantly using the following Frequencies:

VHF, including FM; for Re-broadcasting of FM Radio with Break-in facility, which allows the Tunnel Operators to play safety-relevant
messages to Car drivers using the tunnel

UHF, including TETRA and TETRAPOL, to send Mission-Critical Communications into the tunnel for the Emergency and First Responder
Services

GSM900; to allow Tunnel users to make calls to the Roadside Assist and Emergency Services.

UHF, including TETRA and TETRAPOL, for Trackside Maintenance and Mission-Critical Emergency Services

GSM-R; for Railway Operations Communications and Train Control and Communications Systems

DCS; UMTS & LTE; for use by Passengers in the Train

RAILWAY & METRO Tunnels, predominantly using the following Frequencies:

VHF, UHF, including TETRA and TETRAPOL; for Trackside Maintenance and Mission-Critical Emergency Services

DCS, UMTS & LTE; for use by Passengers in the Train

In addition to the above mentioned transportation applications, Radiating Cables can be used in various other methods like:

1. Hotels
2. Hospitals
3. Parkings
4. Airports
5. Shopping Center

Regulatory Compliance/Certifications

Silexstr Radiating Cable ® functions as a distributed antenna to

provide communications in tunnels, mines and large building
RoHS 2011/65/EU RoHS Compliant complexes and is the solution for any application in confined areas.
Designed, manufactured and/or distributed under quality
Slots in the copper outer conductor allow a controlled portion of the
management system
internal RF energy to be radiated into the surrounding environment.

Coupling & Radiating Cable is used for both one-way and two-way
communication systems and because of its broadband capability, a
single radiating cable can handle multiple communication systems
simultaneously.
