(b) Except as otherwise permitted in (a) above and 27-3, vessel design for internal pressure shall be subjected to
hydrostatic test pressure which at every point in the vessel is at least equal to 1.3 times the maximum allowable
working pressure to be marked on the vessel multiplied by the lowest ratio (for the material of which vessel
constructed) of the stress value S for the test temperature on the vessel to the stress value S for the design
temperature.
Therefore :
Maximum allowable working pressure = 83,31 psig 5,74 barg
Hydrostatic test pressure = 1.3xMAWPxS/St = 108,31 psig 7,47 barg (max)
= 98,05 psig 6,76 barg (min)
