Product Description:

The 105mm buffer min. 30kJ, category A, standard construction, drawing IST-55.00.00, equips freight cars and
locomotives.
The buffer ensures the balancing of longitudinal compression forces between two rail vehicles and has the role
of storing and absorbing part of the kinetic energy resulted during vehicle impacts, in conformity to all applicable
regulations.
The buffer comprises the following main elements: the plate - exterior tube assembly, the mounting plate -
interior tube assembly, shock absorber.
The buffer housing can accommodate cat. A shock absorbers type thermoplastic elastomer - metal, such as
those provided by DUREL (Germany) or MINER TecsPak springs(USA).
