Let’s smile and take each other’s hands,
Alex: What’s a mammal, Mum?
And think of the creatures of this land. Mum: A mammal is an animal whose body is usually

are some mammals that have no hair like whales

They crawl and buzz or fly above.

Some of them haven’t, like snakes. Reptiles lay eggs.
Now let’s sing.
Mammals can also have fur,

WE LOVE ANIMALS SONG
These hunt for fish we know.
If we cut down every tree,
And they have claws like we have toes.
Heat the planet and kill the beasts,
And some have wings like we have arms.
Waste the water until we please,
And some have scales like we have skin.
We will cry alone.
And some will crawl under our feet.
And some will bounce at the rhythm of the beat.
There’s no better home than this world.
Take care of trees and animals.
Let’s smile and take each other’s hands.
Do so and you’ll make it smile,
And think of the creatures of this land.
And we will smile along.
They cut down forests and blacken seas. From the huge elephant to the tiny beetle.
So let’s start helping. Come along with me! We love animals, why not help them?
All together a circle of friends.
Let’s smile and take each other’s hands.
And think of the creatures of this land. Once a bear up north cried out, “They took my fur

Today we are off to New Zealand. Do you know where
it is? It is in Oceania. Oceania is made up of Australia
and New Zealand. Do you know what language they
speak there? They speak English. Did you know
that the seasons are different in Australia and New
Zealand? When it’s winter in Europe, it’s summer
in Australia, and when it’s summer in Australia, it’s
winter in Europe. In Australia and New Zealand, it’s
very hot at Christmas.

Mum: Alex, can you tell me some differences
between an emu and a kiwi bird?
Alex: Emus are bigger, much bigger, and they’ve got
longer legs.
Mum: What about their beaks?
Alex: A kiwi bird’s beak is longer than an emu’s.
Mum: What about their eggs?
Alex: An emu’s egg is as big as a kiwi bird’s egg, but
the colour is different. A kiwi bird’s egg is beige and
an emu’s egg is green.
Mum: Very good Alex! Now what is similar?
Alex: They both have small wings which means they
can’t fly. They can both run very fast. They have both
got three-toed feet with claws.
Mum: You do know a lot!
Keep listening!

WOMBAT SONG
Plump is a wombat full of tricks and fun, PRESENT AND PAST RAP
An energetic rascal always on the run. Present and the past, present and the past,
He still is a little cub. He needs mummy’s love. Present and the past is what it’s all about
But then one fine day, he’ll decide to make his way. Present and the past, present and the past,
Present and the past is what it’s all about
And away and away and away and away
He will go, go, go wombat, go, go. Do you like to play football?
Yes, I played it yesterday
He often gets in trouble for playing rough and tough. I want to ride my bike today
He never stops spinning and enough is never enough. I rode mine on Friday
But he’s also very cuddly. He’s furry and round. Where did you go last night?
He squirms and wriggles when he wants to get down. I went to the zoo, alright?
Did you watch TV?
And away and away and away and away. Yes, I watched the news.
He will go, go, go wombat go, go, go! Go-went
