Explain what Mager’s ABCD model is about by giving an example of math

objective and giving reasons why it satisfies the acronym

Learning objectives of Decimal

The student will be able to Define decimal, mixed number, whole number,
fraction, place value, expanded form, decimal digits and equivalent decimals.
Explanation: It adheres to the ABCD model since it aids students in achieving a
better result. It will also teach pupils to think in higher-order ways by building on
lower-level cognitive abilities. The learner must learn to manage information so
that he can put theoretical notions into practice. It will also assist pupils in
developing critical and creative thinking skills. Finally, provide students a clear
goal to which they can direct their learning efforts.

2. Explain what the SMART acronym means in objective-making by giving an

example of math objective and giving reasons why it satisfies the acronym.

As you start to think about setting math goals for students, remember that
SMART goals are specific, measurable, achievable/attainable, relevant/realistic,
and time bound. In math instruction, there are five interrelated components,
which are defined as conceptual understanding, procedural fluency, strategic
competence, adaptive reasoning, and productive disposition. One of the
mathematic objective examples is Student will able to analyze characteristics and
properties of two- and three-dimensional geometric shapes and develop
mathematical arguments about geometric relationships. It satisfies the acronym
because at the end of the discussion students will be able to accurately
determine the properties of two- and three-dimensional geometric shapes and
develop mathematical arguments about geometric relationships. It also
incorporates the mathematic objectives to help focus your efforts and increase
the chances of achieving their goal in mathematics proficiency.

Here are the learning objectives in the topic of "Scientific Notation". At the end of
the lesson student will be able to understand why scientific notation is important.
Students will be able to convert numbers into scientific notation. Student will be
able to add, subtract, multiply and divide numbers in scientific notation. It
satisfies the cognitive level which is understanding because it students will have
better understand big and small numbers can be useful to them in all aspects of
their academic mathematics proficiency.
The learning objectives for the topic " Variance and Standard Deviation” are
listed below. At the end of the lesson, the students will be able to Identify the
measures of variability of grouped and ungroup data. the students will be able to
link the concept of measures of variability in real life context. the students will
be able to solve the measures of variability of grouped and ungrouped data. It
satisfies cognitive level which is analyzing because it helps the students to
break the material into constituent parts and determining how the variability of
grouped and ungrouped data relate to one another.

Here are the learning objectives in the topic of " "Nature of Roots of a Quadratic
Equation ". At the end of the lesson, students will be able to evaluate the roots of a
quadratic equation using the discriminant. Students will be able to determine the roots
of a quadratic equation. Students will be able to compare the difference of roots of a
quadratic equation using the discriminant and of roots of a quadratic equation without
using the discriminant. It satisfies the cognitive level which is evaluating because it
helps the students to have better learning outcomes.

Here are the learning objectives in the topic of " Real Number System". At the end of
the lesson, the students will be able to internalize the different subsets of real number.
Student will be able to verify the importance of real numbers. It satisfies the affective
level which is characterizing because the students will set a value system that has controlled his
or her behavior for their mathematic learning and develop a characteristic in mathematic proficiency.

Learning objectives can be identified as the goals that should be achieved by a student at the
end of a lesson. The objectives of a lesson describe the base knowledge and skills we want our
students to learn from our lesson. Simply put it’s what the student can do after they unit has
been introduced. It also assumes that each student work toward the lessons is long-term and it
might not qualify as success if it will uses every day.
