What are the key concepts that you have learned in this session?

Answer:

I personally enjoyed watching the webinar “PowerPoint for Teachers on Point: Tips and
Tricks on use of PPT Presentations for Education” that was discussed by Ms. Danna Rose
Javier in this are the key concept that I gathered during the webinar : identify the names and
functions of power point interface, create/edit/save and print the presentation, create and
manipulate simple slides to show with outlines and notes and lastly create slide presentation
that include text/graphics/animation and transition, use design layout and template,

How can you integrate this in teaching and in the field of education?

Answer:

Nowadays different kind of technology is around the globe to help individuals in their
daily living and with it comes to education the number one tool we use in teaching or
presenting is the PowerPoint Presentation by Microsoft because of its great impact to teaching
, as an educator I can integrate this matter in teaching by creating such presentation that are
eye catchy yet informative to my students and as a aspirant shs teacher that teach business
subjects I can integrate this knowledge to my students by sharing my knowledge to them when
it comes in PowerPoint presentation.

And for the field in education I can easily applied this knowledge for example preparing
video presentation we know that Microsoft has ability to generate video output, generating
photo and some pdf. PowerPoint is a very flexible tool that we can use if needed.

Answer:

The webinar entitled “PowerPoint for Teachers on Point: Tips and Tricks on use of PPT
Presentations for Education” that was discussed by Ms. Danna Rose Javier was a very
informative for me as an educator. She tackled the different objective and aspects when it
comes to the usage of Microsoft PowerPoint and discussed the main function and use of
power point interface, proper way on how to create, edit and save as well as printing the
presentation, basic way on how to create slides including text, graphics, animation and
transition, and how to use design layout and templates.

Different kind of slides was also discussed either text, conceptual or quantitative slides.
Proper way in the text was also discussed like the font size, the message on the text must be
clear yet easy to read and a certain lines and text needed in every slides. Lastly the output of
this webinar that I have learned is the process of PowerPoint conversion to pdf file, creating a
custom template, PowerPoint to image conversion, PowerPoint to video conversion and
insering different media files to slides.
