OF ELSIE RONCALES-MORA, RSW

RETIREE

Elsie Roncales-Mora is a registered Social Worker, and has been working in the
government as MSWDO for 34 years. She was born on July 31, 1962 and married to
Marcelino A. Mora. She has three children. Eldest Elma Mora-Maligo RN, working as
Nurse in Northern Smar Provincial Hospital, Catarman, N. Samar. The second child
Muriel R. Mora, RN, working in Australia, and the youngest Elmar R. Mora is a
seafarer.

Some of Major accomplishments of Elsie Roncales-Mora;

1. Passed the Social Work Board Licensure Examinations year 1985 and
making it to the top being the 9th placer.

2. Year 2019 while active as MSWDO of LGU Bobon Northern Samar was
awarded as Child Friendly Municipality.

3. LGU of Bobon thru MSWDO was awarded “GAWAD KALASAG” on ECCD

implementation.

4. Thru the MSWDO Office our FSCAB President was awarded among the
“SAMPUNG ULIRANG NAKAKATANDA SUN AWARDS” Organized by
COSE.

5. The retiree received several citations and recognitions while the MSWDO of
LGU Bobon as Always in the frontliner service delivery particularly those
which have to do with immediate interventions, her coordinate efforts and
fostering good relationship to other stakeholder makes her program
implementation easy. This is being done for the purpose of the promotion and
protection of all needy, disadvantaged, underprivileged individual, vulnerable
sectors in the community.
6. The skills, new learnings, training attended work experiences are being
cascaded to her staff which resulted to a very satisfactory rating
accomplishment as seen in the OPCR (Office Performance Accomplishment
Report)

7. The ECCD service providers of LGU Bobon, the Day Care Worker before she
retires, were in the plantilla position receiving salary grade 10 from LGU.

8. A senior citizens Day Center was constructed and accredited and number of
concrete Day Care Centers were installed. And all Day Care Workers are
accredited also.

9. A core shelter making it to 110 units was successfully completed and awarded
to deserving beneficiaries.

10. Mrs. Elsie Roncales- Mora during the 2021 ALSWDOPI National Social
Welfare and Development Forum and General Assembly was awarded as
“GAWAD PARANGAL AWARD” as an outstanding MSWDO.
