The Digital organization is where the Infrastructure Services, Product, Development and Customer Experience
teams comes together to drive the transformation and develop compelling propositions for our customers and
partners.
As an AWS Automation Solution Designer you will be primarily responsible for creating and designing IaC
(Infrastructure as Code) components fostering best practices amongst the team and wider DevOps squads.
Create templates for example; Aws Accounts, EKS clusters for use as building blocks within AWS
Service Catalogue.
Continually develop and maintain existing templates
Design and set IaC to high security standards within a regulated market whilst maintaining agility
Guide & Coach the Platform Services and other stakeholders with standards and industry best practices.
Act as a single point of contact for projects of Infrastructure team
Create and maintain documentation
Review code / solutions built by others
AWS Sysops Certified beneficial
AWS DevOps Certified beneficial
Previous experience in a hands-on role is essential
You will need to be proficient in Terraform and AWS Cloud Formation and ideally hold AWS certifications. Have
experience around Security-as-Code/Compliance-as-Code and have used AWS Service Catalogue.
To be successful in this role we think that you are motivated and structured, value teamwork and hold excellent
communication and relationship building skills. You enjoy working closely with and between teams, but you
equally enjoy dwelling in into details and getting stick in.
AWS Infrastructure Security Engineer / SME
As our AWS Infrastructure Security Engineer, you will get assignments within Security HUB, ruleset, maintain
policies to mention a few. You will be part of an organization, where we create possibilities for a better living by
providing banking and financial services. We do it with different perspectives, natural curiosity and long-term

The Digital organization is where the Infrastructure Services, Product, Development and Customer Experience
teams comes to together to drive the transformation of Ikano Bank and develop compelling propositions for our
customers and partners.
As an AWS Security SME you will be primarily responsible for working with the established AWS Security Hub,
managing alerts and evolving the product along with our IT Security Architect, managing the AWS firewalls and
Security Groups as well as acting as a SME for the wider Infrastructure Team.
This role is very much hands on, and we need someone to help fostering best practices amongst the team and
wider DevOps squads.
The list below is contained to the organization and Industry best Practices for AWS security within Infrastructure
space.
Work with AWS Security Hub and ensure that compliance is always achieved
Maintain ruleset with Security hub
Maintain AWS Firewall Manager policies & Security Groups
Work with the Banks IT Security dept. to ensure requirements are fulfilled within Infrastructure
responsibility and liaising with squads to ensure standards are kept. e.g. Encryption
Define and maintain Security standards
Collaborate with our existing Security Operation’s centers
Coach DevOps squads where required on best practices
Create and maintain documentation
Be able to create and maintain Lambda services
Innovate and be up to date with new services and ways of working on AWS
Life cycle activities as required
Experience working within regulated markets
Act as a SPOC for Platform Services
AWS Security Certified – beneficial but not mandatory
AWS Sysops Certified
AWS Security Hub experience is essential
Previous experience in a hands-on role is essential
