1. What are some reasons why Christian Migrants settled in the large area of Mindanao?

Answer: The reasons why christian migrants settled in the large area of mindanao it is because
they saw the potential were the land of moro have a economic growth and developments in the
region. Were as I understand as they want to settled there they have a big expectation and
advantage to the opportunities that the land availabiilty in mindanao is vast wide and good for
there mechanical agricultural economics growth that were they avail it for settlement. And also
the reason this could be the prevalance of poverty in the philippine and the need for economic
opportunity in abroad so that when they have a interest to settle in mindanao.

2. Diffierentiate the strategies made by the spaniards and the Americans in colonizing the
phillippines and the area of the Bangsamoro.

Answer: Spanish colonization had Catholic Church, Mestizos. Spanish style of government and
basic exclusive education. While the American colonization had protestantism. By the Gl joes.
American method of governance. And much open education programs. The first strategies that
made by the spaniards is the “divide and rule” the spaniards that live in the philippines for more
than a 300yrs of colonizing it. But after that the Spanish and American war in 1898 where the
spain ceded its longstanding colony of the philippine to the united states in the treaty of paris. In
treaty of paris the Americans strategies was to get along the war between spaniards to gain the
trust of the philippines. in which the americans made a scripture between the two colonizer the
spain and american in what they do is to pretend and it is called “The Kiram Agreement”
between Bangsamoro and the foreign colonizer. Were they stayed along in a 48yrs. And after that
on the spaniards it came out the Bangsamoro or the “MORO” were the spaniards didn’t totally
colonized often of the places in mindanao they only colonize Jolo and the Moros of sulu. and
after in differentiate of this two colonizer the americans made a strategies to get along the
Bangsamoro. But not totally same as the spaniards even they dont have a chance they fought
back for there place. And the strategies of americans made a scripture to trick the bangsamoro
people also and its sultans but they didn’t have a chance even they uses some strategies to
colonize by the americans the foreign rule.

4. What were the reasons why the American-Moro war happened? Explain thoroughly.

Answer: The main cause and the reasons is the resistance by the Bangsamoro People against
foreign rule. Including the american annexation of the philippines in 1898. Where the moro
resistance against the philippine government also has persisted over since. And the scripture that
the americans want is to Christianize and Slavery of the bangsamoro people. And the reasons
about the American- Moro War was the kiram Agreement where its treaty because sultans signed
the agreement in firm belief that it signaled the safety of the homeland and the explusion of the
american colonialist. Where the Americans had a different motive in mind. They made use of the
agreement to usher in eventual occupation of the Bangsamoro homeland. It chiefly used by the
Americans to prevent the opening of another battle front in Mindanao and sulu while they
battling forces in luzon. And the reason also is the American mandate of there agreement where
the Bangsamoro people didn’t agree most of the features and the Capitalistics Land and Laws
policies and even in slavery where the moro don’t basically agree.

Answer: It’s because when the Spanish-American war was battled they justify the advocation of
the annexation evinced a variety of motivations. Desire for commercial opportunities in Asia.
Concern that the Filipinos were incapable of self-rule. And fear that if the United State did not
take controls of the islands another colonizer or power where come such as Germany or Japan)
might do so. And the philippines was succesfully colonized because of the campaign and

october 1899. The united state government formally acquired the philippines from spain. And it
accompanied by the Spanish-American war were the americans want to proclaim that they faught
against the spanish where the philippines had no idea that the spaniards sold the entire

ruler. The united states had acquired a colony the size of Arizona. Located more than 4,000 miles

Moro Sulu Sultanate which guaranted the Sultanate’s autonomy in its internal affairs and
governance. Including articl X that guaranteed preservation of slavery. While America dealt with
its foreign relations. In order to keep the Moros out of the philippines. As the provisions of kiram
bates treat is that it include the recognition of U.S soverignty over Sulu and its dependancies,
Mutual respect between the U.S and the sultanate of Sulu, Moro autonomy, non-interference with
moro religion and customs, and a pledge that the “U.S will not sell the island of jolo. In with the

americans out of their internal affairs and guaranteed their wat of life. And it collaborate the

as far as Moro-American relation are concerned.

Answer: The moro insurgency was triggered by the purported Jabidah massacre on March 18,
1968, during which 60 filipino Muslim commandos on planned operation to reclaim the eastern
part of the malaysian state of sabah were said to have been killed. And as the struggle of
bangsamoro is rooted in the historical injustice done to their identity and their people.
Bangsamoro was not a part of the Spanish- colonized Philippine and was only annexed after the
United State took power.
8. What is your expectation on the creation of BARMM?

Answer: My expectation on the creation of BARMM was that it helps a lot as being a muslim
because right now there are so many muslim people was adapting the style of cristians and I’m
expecting that all of the rules that BARMM will all have a great distination that the muslim
people can be more aknowledgeable about the religion of Islam, and they will implement a
seminar that mandidated to all muslim brother and sister. I’m hoping that the BARMM will have
a policy were boys and girls stop dating each other in public unless they are married. And banned
every bisyo where the Muslim broher are using like Illegal using of Marijuana and buying a
hidden store that sale a alcohol and mostly minimizing the using of super loud music or bass ini
the city province when its Waktu a salah. And I expected how good well be the result of the
