Recommendations before shooting

Choosing an outfit
Try to choose bright outfits and use makeup. Clothes for filming should

not be comfortable, but should be beautiful and bright.

1 outfit = maximum 3-4 videos, so the covers have different frames

and the feed looks diverse.

There are three main schemes that can be used:
Complimentary colors. This is the most common scheme,

which consists of two colors located opposite each other.

Similar colors. These colors are located next to each other

on the color wheel.

The triad. This is a combination of three colors on a circle

that are at the same distance from each other.

Accessories
They make the video more vivid and balanced: unusual earrings,

necklaces, handbags.
Additional elements in the frame create the background and anchor.

Accessories are also better placed

at the intersection of lines.

How to correctly place accents and balance

the composition of the video

The horizon should be horizontal in the frame and the verticals vertical.

The grid function divides your screen into 9 different parts.

Try to use it to build a frame.

Try to place the key elements of the video at the intersection of the lines.
Tripod

It will be most convenient to determine the shooting location,

prepare everything, put the phone on a tripod and shoot calmly

without fear that it will fall or move.

But if you are shooting on the street or at an event

(or if there is no tripod yet), you can use anything as a tripod

(you can fix the phone using various stands, books, mugs, bags,

put it on the windowsill of a building, shooting on the street, etc.).

Light

Natural daylight will make the video high-quality and pleasing to the eye.

As gently as possible and without sharp contrasts of shadows, the light dissipates

before noon and after 16 hours.

When shooting, do not place your back to the window, the light should

be in front of you and evenly illuminate you.

Wipe the phone camera

It is important to wipe the phone camera before each shooting.

To do this, it is better to use a special napkin, but if there is nothing like

that at hand, then you can simply wipe the lens with a cloth.
Change poses every 5-6 seconds

In order for the video not to be boring and monotonous,

it is better to pause the shooting every few seconds and change

the angle, pose or location.

This way the video will be more dynamic and will be able to better

hold the viewer's attention.

Optimal posting time

The optimal time for posting: 11:00, 14:00 and 17:00.

We recommend making a 3-hour interval between posting. But depending

on the time of the audience's activity in the account, the posting time may also vary.

Text design

It is better to choose 1-2 fonts for the account and subsequently

use only them. Same is for color selection string.

Certain colors and fonts will cause associations with your account.

Text placement

The text should be placed closer to the middle of the screen,

so that it does not overlap the description and elements of the TikTok.

It is also important to make sure that the text does not appear on top

of your face in the video.

Key points of text design

To make the videos more lively and dynamic, we recommend using

emoticons and different text formatting.

Don't forget to make sure that the text lasts long enough to be read

and not too long so that the video doesn't seem boring.

The text should reflect the meaning of the video and your speech.

It is better to use a single text size in the video and not make some text

larger, but some smaller.

Recommendations for the video cover

Recommendations after the posting

In the first hour after posting, it is advisable to be online and respond

to comments and try to maintain a dialogue. This increases the activity

on the account.

Do not forget to act as a user: watch, like and comment on the posts

of other creators. This will help to avoid a shadow ban.

Editing. Editing Applications

For the editing itself, it is best to use the Inshot or CapCut.

When you are cutting from various videos, it is better to make videos

without transitions (unless these are special trending transitions).

But if you like them, you can add them.

Put subtitles in the TikTok app using "Edit" mode. Don't forget to check

if the subtitles are not covered with caption, your name or likes

and comments buttons.

To check the video before publishing click on the photo on the right

(not on the “Change cover”, but just above this button).

In conversational videos, it is necessar y to change the picture (angle, shooting

location, moving away and zooming in during editing) ever y 1-2 sentences.
