Objective:
The objective of this scavenger hunt is to help new students become familiar with the
campus layout and important student support services available at Fleming College.
Instructions:
Students may complete the search in groups, but pictures and video submissions
must be of individuals and each person is responsible for a unique
individual submission.
Each student must answer each question for each location. These are based on
your own feelings and perspectives and must be in your own words.
You may submit your answers to the Dropbox in a Microsoft Word document, or
you may video yourself answering the questions and upload the videos to the
Dropbox
[] The staff on information booth were very co-operative and fulfilled my every
single need. The information booth opens on 8:00 AM till 4:30PM.
3) What information did you find at the information booth that you had not
expected?
[] When I went there for my one card inquiry, they gave me an extra
information that, I will get a mail in which I have to do a survey which will give
me a chance to win 100$ credit.
2) Is the LRC an appropriate space for a large or loud gathering? Why or Why
not?
[] Yes as per my perception LRC is the best place for large gathering as we
can complete our group assignments.
3) What service department is at the back of the LRC and how can you get in
touch with them aside from going there physically?
[] Consulting sessions department is situated at the back of LRC as well as
there are sessions for Jobs, Resumes and In campus Jobs.
2) What workshops does the library offer and which would you be most
interested in?
[] The concept of plagiarism is very fascinating for me and most important of
students.
3) What service did you find that the library offered that you did not expect and
why was it surprising?
[] The best service which I found is the right side private room for the students
who are assigned for their group discussion and assignments.
2) What new activity that is offered at the centre is of interest to you and why?
[] Actually I made new friends there and we workout together, also they help
me try new equipment.
3) Why is it important to take care of your physical well-being as a student? How
will you do this?
[] As a student I want to be fit and fine because if I get sick it will directly
impact on my studies.
2) What specific on campus food service would you like to see offered and why?
[] I love the salad bar where I can customise my own salad which fascinates
me.

1) What does SAC stand for and what do they do?
[] SAC stands for Student Administrative Council and this council helps to
volunteer students to be together and be socialized.
2) Did you know about them before this assignment? What did you know or what
would you have liked to know?
[] No to be honest I didn’t know about this council before the assignment.
After getting information about this council I met new people.
3) What social centre do they operate? What type of events could you see
yourself being interested in attending there?
[] I am fond of sports activities, one of the counsellor gave me some
information about the badminton classes which are going to start in very short
time.
2) How could career services help with your current job needs?
[] Currently career services are conducting some classes in the right side of
desk of LRC which gave me lot of information about In-campus jobs.
3) Is there a service that you would like to see offered that is currently not?
Provide some details.
[] Yes the service instructor personally gave me some information about off
campus jobs which are currently unavailable so they told me to update my
resume which will help me a lot.
