Table 1 shows the qualitative and quantitative data gathered wherein the variable study
environment and study method are qualitative data. On the other hand, we have the assignment grades
and weekly study hours as our quantitative data. In these datasets, the quantitative variables (exam
scores, hours of study, assignment grades, weekly study hours) are related to academic performance,
while the qualitative variables (study environment, study method) provide additional context to the
study habits of each student.
GRAPHS OF THE QUALITATIVE DATA

Figure 1.1 Pie chart of Study Place

STUDY PLACE

50% 50%
The above figures, 1 and 1.1 shows the frequency distribution of the study place in which,
according to the charts presented, there are 15 respondents (50%) who prefers to study in the library
and 15 (50%) respondents who also prefers to study at home.

Figure 2. Bar Graph of Study Method

Figure 2.1 Pie Graph of Study Method

Figure 2 and Figure 2.1 show the frequency distribution of the study method of the respondents
wherein 53% of the respondents are engaged in solo studying followed by the percentage of group
studying which runs to 47% of the respondents which can be seen in both figures.

FREQUENCY DISTRIBUTION OF QUANTITATIVE DATA

TABLE 2 TABLE FREQUENCY OF GRADES

FIGURE 3. HISTOGRAM OF GRADES

Table 2 and Figure 3 both shows the frequency of grades based from the data gathered from the
respondents. It shows that 98 is the highest grade with 9 counts, seconded by 97 with 9 counts, then 97
with 7 counts, 96 with 2 counts and lastly, 94 with 3 counts that are evident on the figures shown.

Table 3. FREQUENCY OF WEEKLY STUDY HOURS

Figure 4. HISTOGRAM OF STUDY HOURS/WEEK

Table 3 and Figure 4 show the frequency distribution of the hours consumed while studying per
week wherein there are 12 counts of respondents who study a maximum of 10 hours a week, and 18
counts of students who study a maximum of 12 hours weekly as shown on the figures above.

CENTRAL TENDENCY

Table 4. Table of Descriptives of Qualitative Data

Table 5. Table of Descriptives of Quantitative Data

We can interpret the data as shown on Table 5 which is supported by Figure 3 that the mean of
the Grades of the students is 96.3 while the Study Hours is 11.2. Anent to this, the median of the Grades
is 97.0 while the corresponding hour to it is 12. Additionally, the mode of the Grades of the respondents
is 95 with 12 hours of study per week.

MEASURE OF VARIANCE

Table 6. Measure of Variation for quantitative variables grouped by Study Hours/Week.

Table 6 shows the variation of grades according to the study method used and the number of
hours consumed by studying per week. This shows that the respondents who studies within a group has
a range of 3.00 with an SD of 1.00 compared to the respondents who prefers to study solo that has a
range of 2.00 with an SD of 0.646. This means that the respondents who studies in a group is more
spread compared to the other variable.

Figure 5 presents the box plot of Grades of the respondents involved in the study while Figure
5.1 shows the box plot of study hours/week showing a positive skew.

OUTLIERS

There are no outliers among the data showing that there are no abnormalities from the values
gathered.
