Postulate of Ethics:

The postulate of ethics refers to a fundamental assumption or proposition that serves as a basis for
ethical reasoning or moral philosophy. It could be a foundational principle or belief that underlies ethical
theories and guides individuals in making moral decisions.

Elements of Moral Act:

The elements of a moral act are the various components that contribute to the ethical nature of an
action. These elements often include intention, moral object, and circumstances. The intention reflects
the purpose or motive behind the action, the moral object pertains to the inherent morality of the action
itself, and circumstances consider the context surrounding the action.

Immortality of the Soul:

The concept of the immortality of the soul is rooted in various religious and philosophical traditions. It
posits that the essence or consciousness of an individual transcends physical death and endures beyond
the lifespan of the body. This idea suggests that the soul, once separated from the body, continues to
exist in some form.

Impediment of Human Act – Ignorance:

Ignorance as an impediment to a human act refers to a lack of knowledge or awareness that affects the
moral responsibility of an individual for their actions. If a person is genuinely unaware of the moral
implications or consequences of their behavior due to ignorance, it may mitigate their culpability.
However, the type of ignorance (vincible or invincible) and its impact on the individual’s ability to know
right from wrong can vary.
