INTRODUCTION. Spirituality is a criterion of personal maturity, the essence of humanity and
a factor of society's development. That is, a person's worldview, life knowledge, skills,
mentality, conscious attitude to society and his humanity, patriotism, hard work, moral qualities,
aesthetic taste, legal culture, loyalty to his human and civic duty, faith. Enlightenment is the
factor of forming these human qualities. It is a dialectical fact that an enlightened person is
spiritual, and a spiritual person always strives for enlightenment. Today, the dependence of
spirituality on enlightenment has become an axiom. It is natural that if there is no knowledge,
skills, and qualifications about the essence of the above qualities, and if these do not become a
belief, practical activity, and a culture of life, it will not acquire social significance.
So, if human spirituality is at the level of education, enlightenment is education that forms it,
education is independent knowledge acquisition and promotion, on the one hand, spirituality,
enlightenment is based on the principle of harmony of education and upbringing. But
enlightenment has its own principles and methods in terms of forming universal human qualities,
creating a conscious way of life and culture in all aspects of human life.
MAIN PART. Enlightenment is a source of social education and mass promotion, along with
independent learning of a person and regular enjoyment of knowledge. In our country, it is
necessary to approach spirituality and enlightenment as a public issue, an urgent issue of state
importance, based on these characteristics. If spirituality and enlightenment literally become the
work of the whole nation, it is necessary to follow new laws and pedagogical principles for
scientific management in spiritual-enlightenment centers, social institutions engaged in this field,
and educational institutions.
So, the goal of enlightenment is society, people, and specifically, the spiritual character of an
individual, a model of a perfect human being. As proven in life, just as the builder knows the
project of what he is building, the intellectual should imagine in advance who he wants to
educate and what he wants to form. Taking into account the objective and subjective conditions,
spiritual-enlightenment works will be more effective if the goal is set correctly.

The components of the formation of a perfect person: mental, moral, aesthetic, legal,
environmental, work and physical education, provide unity and consistency in spirituality and
enlightenment.
There are specific spiritual-pedagogical stages of consistent implementation of spirituality and
enlightenment in educating students-young people's spiritual thinking. First of all, social
consciousness is the formation of a spiritual feeling, the formation of imagination and thought
about its place in life; formation of spiritual and moral concepts, faith, moral behavior, skills,
educational culture.
We had a brief discussion about the purpose and content of spiritual-enlightenment works, the
formation of a perfect person, and the interdependence of the spiritual factor of society's
development in education. We will pay special attention to the issue of harmony and uniqueness
of methods and tools arising from these contents and tasks.
Language learning is of great importance in establishing the technology of school, family and
neighborhood cooperation in educating the spiritual thinking of students and young people. It is
not for nothing that they say, "He who knows the language knows the country." Wide use of
scientific achievements and innovative technologies in the world education system, introduction
of new approaches to education, consistent and stable development of all aspects of our life are
becoming an important factor in building a decent future. Especially in countries with developed
educational systems such as Finland, Korea, USA, Great Britain, Russian Federation, France,
Japan, Germany, Italy, students' competencies are formed and developed on the basis of
innovative and digital technologies.
In the Republic of Uzbekistan, the following basic competencies are formed in accordance with
their age characteristics based on the continuity, integrity, priority of the student's personality
and interests[3]:
Communicative competence means the ability to interact in social situations in one's native
language and in any foreign language, to follow the culture of communication, social flexibility,
and the ability to work effectively in a team.
Competency in working with information means the ability to search for, sort, process, store, and
effectively use the necessary information from media sources, to ensure their safety, and to
develop the ability to acquire media culture.
Socially active civic competence - to feel involvement in events, events and processes taking
place in society and to actively participate in them, to know one's civic duties and rights, to
observe them, to have the ability to deal with labor and civil relations and acquire legal culture
implies.
In the structure of qualification requirements for the general subjects of general secondary and
secondary special, vocational education, the formation of basic competences and general
competences related to science is taken into account. In this:
basic competencies - related to the general (metasubject) part of the educational content;
competences related to science - are formed within the framework of a certain academic subject.
Basic competencies are a universal method of unchanging activity for all (most) professions and
specialties, which are aimed at solving professional and labor problems and are a factor of a
graduate's integration into social and labor relations in the labor market [4]. There is no single
list of core competencies in the world. Because every country or region has its own traditions,
mentality, needs and strategy. Therefore, the list of basic competencies is standardized and
defined for each country in accordance with the social requirements and obligations imposed on
citizens by the society, as well as the social environment of the country or region.
Competence of a primary school student is an integral characteristic of a student, a system of
knowledge, skills and abilities necessary for modeling the knowledge acquired in the process of

mastering school subjects and his behavior, taking into account the surrounding reality. describes
Korotina Y.V.[7]. V. I. Yablonsky says that the model of competence of a specialist can be
developed on the basis of a professional approach to the description of specialties. Also, in
determining the sum of a specialist's competencies and the level of their formation, they
approach as follows [8]: that the student is in demand in the professional environment:
It is necessary to teach elementary school students to understand and apply the acquired
knowledge in their daily activities, taking into account the above points. Also, it is necessary to
provide knowledge based on competency-based approaches in teaching elementary school
students, use innovative technologies (electronic educational tools) in teaching, form and
develop their competencies.
It is important to distinguish the methodology of developing a pedagogical process project and
its implementation as a conceptual basis for the development of students' competence. This
requires appropriate support - processes, educational technologies, methods of identifying and
improving the organizational-pedagogical environment.
Since the concept of pedagogical conditions is very actively used in the description of the
pedagogical process in the organization of modern education, it makes sense to talk about
pedagogical conditions separately. View the use of innovative technologies in the educational
process as a factor in the formation and development of students' competence in the educational
process; instead, the use of innovative technologies in the educational process occupies a key
place in our research on the formation and development of students' competence in the
educational process.
In order to apply civic education to elementary school students, scientific and popular art articles
on this topic are included in textbooks aimed at developing students' knowledge and imagination
about the anthem, flag, coat of arms and other symbols of Uzbekistan. For example, in the 3rd
grade textbook, it is known that the essence of the state coat of arms of the Republic of

Uzbekistan is a symbol of the independence of the Republic. Children will have an idea about
the Humo bird, they will learn the meaning of the river, mountain, cotton, spike, rising golden
sun, etc.
In the textbooks, there are a lot of scientific and popular art articles on ethics and environmental
topics. In the 3rd grade textbook, the texts "About Respecting Parents" taken from "Kabusnama"
and "About Pleasing Mother" taken from "Hadith" of Rasulullah are examples of the subject of
etiquette. The text "Yer sevarni - el sevar" is a scientific and popular article on the environmental
topic. The text compares the mother and the mother earth, which gave birth to white milk, and it
is concluded that protecting the earth means turning the surroundings into gardens.

rules of behavior in society, prevention of diseases, benefits of vitamins, heroism, birth ri covers
topics such as choosing a profession, kindness, and rational use of natural resources.
CONCLUSION. The formation and development of socially active citizenship competences is
of urgent importance in the education of the spiritual thinking of primary school students, in
which the texts given in primary school textbooks such as "Education", "Native language and
reading literacy", "Natural science" serves as an important resource. Acquainting citizens with
their duties and responsibilities from the first elementary school is a solid foundation for building
an active democratic society.
