INSTALLATION
After installation the package is located in the path: “C:\AutoCAD Plant 3D 2024
Content\Instruments Fittings Catalog - Metric”

Note: Imperial or metric depend on the version of your download.

Step 2: Open your project and add spec to Pipe Specs and start to use.

To Uninstall the package go to “Add or remove Program” and choose Uninstall.

All components in the catalog are displayed in the Tool Palettes.

All the parts are block-base components. You can find the source DWG file at
“C:\AutoCAD Plant 3D 2024 Content\CPak Instruments Fittings Catalog -
Metric\Instruments Fittings Catalog\DWG

And the equivalent preview picture at “C:\AutoCAD Plant 3D 2024 Content\CPak

Instruments Fittings Catalog - Metric\Instruments Fittings Catalog\200”.

Note that replace 2024 with your current version of P3D. You can change the preview
picture as well, remind to keep the same name.

There are 3 methods for insert a component in your drawing, different methods have
each advantage.

1. Using directly from Tool palettes as in the image above. This direct click and pull
method is the most common used but there are alternative options available.

Remember to choose your workspace is 3D piping in order for the Tool palettes
available.

2. Using PLANTFITTINGADD command, this way you can easily select which valve,
fitting is available base on Size, the drawback is it doesn’t have preview images.
