happens among men who are considered the pillar of the family. This study aims to highlight
children's awareness of domestic violence among men. To address this overwhelming issue,
students’s welfare must be assessed professionally. However, no attempts have been made to
understand the complexities of their experiences better.

Statement of the Problem

This study explored male domestic violence from the perspective of the children at the Don
Carlos Polytechnic College. Significantly this study sought to answer the following
questions.

1. What are the common types of male domestic violence as observed by the student?

2. What are the underlying reasons why male domestic violence is committed among their
parents?

3. What is the perspective of the student who witnessed violence between their parents?

Objectives of the study

This study aims to determine the perspective of the respondents regarding to male domestic
violence at Don Carlos polytechnic college specifically the objectives are;

1. To determine the common of male domestic violence.

2. To determine the underlying reasons why male domestic violence is committed among
their parents?

3. To know the perspective of the student who witnessed violence between their parents?
