Teenagers need many things to feel happy. They should get lots of rest.
They often don’t sleep enough, but this is a time in your life when you need

Once, there was a boy called Ramy. His father was a poor farmer. While he
was walking in the street, he saw an old man sitting at the side of the road.

There are so many historical places in Egypt. Everyone should visit these
historical places in Egypt. That helps us to know more about our beautiful
country. Last week, I visited the Citadel in Cairo. It’s an important monument.
It has very tall towers. I saw them from a long way. Salah al-Din built it to

The Ancient Egyptians put some of their kings in the pyramids. They built
the first pyramids about 4,700 years ago and the biggest pyramids were at
Giza. The Great Pyramid of King Khufu took about twenty years to build. They
used two million stones to make it and around a hundred thousand workers
did that work. Scientists think that the Ancient Egyptians cut large stones
from rocks in the mountains, moved them by boat on the River Nile and then
lifted them onto the walls. Finally, they cut stones at the front of the wall to
the correct shape.

Sir Magdy Habib Yacoub is an Egyptian heart surgeon and one of the
world’s most famous surgeons. He was born on 16th November, 1935 in
Belbes, Sharqia. His family used to travel to many places because his father
was an important doctor. When he was four, his aunt died at the age of 22
years because of heart disease. Then he decided to be a heart surgeon. At
the age of 15, he entered the University of Cairo. He studied medicine there
and became a doctor in 1957. His father died in 1958. In 1962, he moved to
London and the USA to work there. Before he stopped working in 2001, at the
age of 65, Magdy used to help to give people new hearts for the first time.
In 1995, Yacoub started the charity of Ahmed Sherif “Chain of Hope.” In 2009,
Magdy Yacoub started a charity, called Aswan Heart Centre, for ill children in
Aswan. Very ill children didn’t use to live long lives, but many ill children can
now live healthy lives.

Last summer, Hani wanted to go on a holiday. He decided to stay for a week on
