THESIS - Since the 17th century, alongside the expansion of the British empire, English has been spoken worldwide until this day. In many countries, they proceed to make English as a second language, even as a first language of most Europeans. Mostly, in the technological era, English is almost used on every social media platform or even computational language. So learning English benefits us in every aspect of our lives, including daily life, academics, and also on workplaces. ARGUMENT 1 - To start with, English took the main role when it came to international communication. Most of the people use English to talk with others. Since they don’t always know our national language, it is crucial to at least know how to use basic English for daily conversation. ARGUMENT 2 - Furthermore, most information materials, literature, and academic journals use English to explain their topic. As a student and an employee, it is important to know what actually we are reading. Especially when you are planning to go study abroad because English maintains every subject that we study since English is an international language. ARGUMENT 3 - Also, English could improve your personal career in the future. Even right now, a lot of multinational companies, even the national ones need English as the main skills needed in the workplace. Once you master English, you could open the opportunity to enhance your lifelong career and build a larger international communication.
